    Hardest Abs track

    Hi all!

What is the hardest abs track you can remember? If possible not too old :D I am instructing Body Pump very recently, and my participants ask for hard abs tracks!!!

    Thanks!

    Tough, without any planks: 57, 51, 44.

    Thanks!

I will ask to my colleagues who teach longer than me if they have those releases to check the video. November 14th there will be a fitness convention (and quarterly also), where there will be a promo to buy older releases for cheaper. Hope there is one of those.

I  had a participant ask me to skip the cooldown and teach a 2nd ab track in it's place.  Needless to say, but I stuck to the format against her wishes.

    Rob,

Then you could advice her ,after the cooldown, to go  for another run with abs machines if her gym club has some.

Abs Machines? This is another very good example of why participants should NOT be dishing out advice as if they were a qualified professional. My friend I don't know what happens at the gyms where you train but in most modern places in the world now, machines that isolate your "abs" are about as old fashioned as leg warmers and headbands. For proper core work do some planks and all their variations and maybe some cable rotations. Yoga and Pilates or BB would also help. Do you need to do that after a pump class? Probably not.

As I said in a previous post - be careful about how you give advice, you are NOT qualified. And if that changes please do let us know so I can stop my ranting.

As to the original post, of recent releases 66 would have to be the hardest, no question.

    57

Agree, those 7-top-half pulses at the end really burn. Even more so if you add an isometric to the end of the last one.

A similar track that sticks in my mind is 42.

For some reason I don't find 66 that difficult. It's a great track, and the best from the 60s, but by no means the hardest.

I suppose I'd go as far as saying that I don't really think the hover is that challenging full-stop.

Hmm, you post twice the same thing.. Careful...

I wonder why participants cannot give their viewpoints. It's just viewpoints not qualified advice as I'm no a qualified instructor...

     No rocket science...Wink

Agree with you as the best of 60s. The one of 69 is great too.

57 is a real toughie if you do it all the way without easier options!

42 is phenomenal as well. It includes a hover towards the end, though.
