kickboxher:kinda annoys me really.....it costs me $$ each quarter....anyone?
There was a similar thread some time ago..
My opinion is : I understand that this situation spoils the big surprise
but these tracklists are wide spread on Internet long time before it is launched in US and it's 'just' a tracklist.. It won't reveal any moves, cues, choreo in it.. so nothing harmful...
Maybe, you should tell your passionate BC participant who have that tracklist in advance to keep for him and not to share it.. (hard sometimes to convince and to do..)
You are paying for Autoship to get the choreography, the proper mixes of the music and the education included in your kit. (Not to mention having the correct high quality copyrighted music on the CD). Legality and morality of it alone should be reason enough for you to keep getting auto ship.
Also Just because they have the track list doesn't mean they know the exact version of the song being used. Some of the songs for LesMills programs are completely unique mixes for Les Mills so just knowing what songs they are doesn't mean you have the exact same version. I think them knowing what is coming sometimes just help to hype up the next release. They can look forward to the music and seeing what remix it is and such, when I was just a participant I always had the track list and saw some of the upcoming choreo online. It still made me just excited when I got to launch time. I'm actually glad they have stopped the choreo from leaking before hand, but the music I think is great, makes me wonder how they will choreograph the song.
kickboxher:it seems the choreography notes and the videos of Rach , Dan and crew are also available . .but have not seen the newest releases, except the track list....not sure if that includes the remix, etc.. LM versions...oh well...
Certainly on Ebay for older versions. I don't see either the new releases.
That being said, the fact to reveal a tracklist can trigger curiosity and then the new participants will come to a class they never try and your class for example, etc. So it's a win-win situation for me.
