I have been going to the gym for nearly a year now and it just gets more and more addictive. The main reason for joining was the fact i needed a pastime as working on a farm meant i was working over 80hrs a week. However now I cut the hours right back and now feel rejuvenated.I now work to live rather than live to work.
I love pump and combat I feel 21 again thanks to these classes.
12 months on and now!!

WOW after a year i finally convinced my wife to join me. She really enjoyed it and i'm sure as soon as shes over the aches she'll be back combatting.

BC35 is the greatest!! A very big thanks to Rach& Dan and all the folks at lesmills. Well An Update Is Imminent just need a little longer 1/8/08

Hello there, I am in a village called New Hartley but lived in Morpeth before that in Northumberland? We are doing work (the fire alarm company I work for) at Catterick Gaza barracks and it's a nightmare so that's all Catterick brings to mind!! Combat is starting at the leisure centre I go to in January and I'm looking forward to trying it but I think they'll be mucking around with the timetable - more bdypump I hope!! They're starting balance too which I'd like to try as it's supposed to really benefit everything you do if you do some proper stretchy things? Sometimes I really ache after certain things and if I stretched more I think it would help.

Hi there just wanted to know where you're from as in a post you said "nowt"? I'm from a village about 25 minutes drive from Newcastle and thought you may be from somewhere nearby.

I'll call them on the morning as been a bit hectic uni wise today. Thanks for the number, is it just as you said that it was scheduled, pump followed by combat? Feek bit silly that i don't quite know what's going on with it, as I hadn;t been back to FF at all. Cheers again. I'll be visiting Barrow soon also to see what it's like.

Hey, quick msg to ask if you still have the number for FF to book? Or if you're in FF before Weds, if you could put my name down :P I threw my class timetable and that out in a rage when hearing they were closing, oops.

Hey, you going next week to the last night thing at FF? I'm thinking about it, would I need to book it as such? I basically haven't been back there since they (well you..) announced their closure! But curious to see who this guy is from BTS, particularly as I'm now enrolled onto Aerobics Instructor course!

Hi John, bit hectic teaching wise but finally getting back to you! I haven't been back to Fitness First since you announced closure to me, got their stupid letter in post finally, half of which isn't true about redeployment of staff etc. I went and had my tyres sorted last week at Bury Tyre Centre and asked about whether the 'new developments' affect them. Bloke said not for another 5 years and that it was FF's choice to get out of there, not landlord. So I'm annoyed with FF like I would be an ex-boyfriend, lol!

I have joined LA Fitness, even though I said I wasn't going to have 2 memberships still. But I went for the 3 month option at £99 which I've paid already. This way I can see if I like the place and also it's best for me with my complicated lifestyle! I still need a gym whilst I'm teaching until Xmas :) Been to LA once since joining so far and I really liked it but then I do like a nice expensive feeling type place. Hope all is well!

OMG, when did you find this out? Why so soon as well? Didn't realise it was doing that badly. My Mum only just joined a couple of months back as well. Quite shocked.

Hey, I did BC33 and did bodybalance after that but there was only 5 people there for that! I was hanging around with some other people outside the door near the end of pump, though did look through to see what it was like. 3 classes would've been a bit too much! I'm still recovering from shin splints and tendonitis in my knees, so trying to listen to my body right now. But I did 63 the other day at the other club I go to. Tricky explaining to people why I have 2 memberships :) Think problem with launch is that the instructors are still getting used to the chorey themselves but imagine timing will come after a couple of times.

Hey John, were you at BC33 launch this morning? Would be awesome if they could do BodyJam eventually. Although starting to find there's not enough time in the day for all these programs :) I'm be hanging around Bury a lot more now anyway as my teacher training placement is at St Benedict's. Hopefully see you around!
