Qualified To Teach

Welp, yep it's official. Yes I am leaving Gold's Gym and Amarillo. :-( I am relocating to Denton Texas where I've accepted a supervisory position at North Lakes Recreation Center. Wow, yeah I know!!! This postiion allows me the opportunity to move up professionally within the fitness industry, something I've wanted for myself for a long time. Unfortunatly this opportunity didn't present itself for me in Amarillo where my heart is. In the five years I've lived here I have addopted quite a family. A Mom - Sylvia, a Stepmom - Rhonda, lots of brothers & sisters - Crystal, Teresa, Steph (don't have enough room to list all of you guys), cousins, friends, and neighbors* >;] I love each one of you, and you're all gonna get hugs & kisses from me before I leave - so watch out, it's coming!

I worked for Gold's Gym in Amarillo Texas as a Personal Trainer for five years. My Group Fitness Manager encouraged me from day one to expand my forum for educating our members by becoming an instructor. After two years of teaching Pilates and Toning classes, our club hosted a Bodystep Inital Training. I was hooked! The education & instruction I received was invaluable. A few months later our club hosted a Bodypump Inital Training, and I knew from the first second that this was the program for me.

Teaching Les Mills' programs has helped me connect to my class participants in a way I never understood before. When I get the new releases in the mail, I'm not only excited to get new choreography, but to learn from the educational section so I can coach & inspire my participants to better fitness & better lives.

always the last to know.... I am so happy for you (and for me, you're closer to me now). Best of luck and I want to hear all about everything, so keep in touch. I better plan a trip to Amarillo to help Crystal with her denial. Love the pics of the Super Saturday, wish I could have been there. Sarah City rocked my world!! Can't wait to go again next year. Stephanie	Hey are you ready for this weekend? You know you will have to go with us when we go to the one in Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio. Hopefully it will be in Dallas and we can go visit you. :( Sad!!!! I can't believe you are leaving. Good news we ALWAYS go to Dallas so I know I will see you often. We can hang out at Uncle Michael's house. I hope everything works out for you and Terrance over there. You are a good wife to pick up and move alot. GO YOU!!!!! I couldn't do it. Think goodness theres no kids cause then it would really be hard. Can't wait for the party and TATTOO. LOL. We will miss you and just always remember where you came from and when you come to town get ready to TEACH,TEACH,TEACH. Everyone will want you to team teach with them. Luv ya sister.

Alicia, where do I began? It was just the other day when you said you can not learn Body Pump and had no interest in teaching any Les Mills programs and look at you now. I will miss you more then you'll ever know. Not only have you been one of my team players but you have been a dear friend and like my own daughter. I 've enjoyed working with you and I wish you the best of luck in everything that you do. May God continue to Bless you and Terrance and remember I am here for you.

Jesica Justiss	wow thats some bad posture in that pic, hope i don't hunch over like that all the time, and yea it was stupid hot??? and just in time for us???? YOu did wonderful on Sat! way to shake your money maker!!!!! if you wanna team teach the new stuff with me on any of my classes just let me know, team teachin is my fav!!!!!!
