Qualified To Teach

Group Fitness is a passion that has changed my life. I joined the fitness industry 8 years ago at age 35 after the birth of my second child. After being diagnosed with severe oesteo-arthritis after my second pregnancy and being told I had the back of a 50+ year old I was depressed, overweight and hated myself.

I joined a local gym to help manage my condition. The change in me over the following 6 months was quite incredible. My fascination with what was happening to me led me to do Certificate III with the intention of becoming a Personal Trainer which I did for some time. But once I started attending classes such as Body Pump and then Body Combat, I never looked back. If my doctor could see me now. I am now Group Fitness Manager for a world class Fitness Center, I teach Body Pump, Body Combat, Body Jam, Body Vive and trained in Body Step. My own experiences help me to connect with my members on a very personal level and I hope to inspire them with my little stories.

An interesting side to me is my history in the performing arts. I was an Opera Singer with the Victoria State Opera for 10 years before retiring to the Fitness Industry. Needless to say, I sing along from time to time!!

Vickie	Hey good to hear u have rested up. according to LM i shud be able to get the dvd for 7 by the end of this week, begining of nxt. For the launch are doing any theme thing they suggested yesterday or just a normal class? ill def be at comabt 2moro, such a stress relief from uni that class brings. xxox vic

Hey Patti,

Thank you so much for telling me a little bit more about you. I totally agree, the cost of traveling is so ridiculous. I hope it will get better, I would love to travel too. I know you would have a Great time over here experiencing the LM classes and I would love to come over there and check the LM classes over there too. Funny you mention about your regulars over there, it's the same over here too, if they only knew (hehehe) ;-) Well I got to go, just want to say that it's Awesome that you have a deep passion of what you do and that you have a way to share it with the world!
