Hi Mark- thanks for your note. I had a great bike pushing big gears- so I'm sure it cut into my run a bit. But, the difference between 8:30 pace and 8:50 pace is only 4 minutes- versus the difference of 1 mph being a lot more. The run did get hot- my pace actually got faster as I went so that's a good sign. NEXT? Volunteering at Lake Placid! And, signing up for next year's Ironman. Super excited. What about you? Plans for 08-09? See you at the quarterly in August...

Mark-
New Instructor for RPM here. Getting interested in road races. Are you still looking for members for the LiveStrong in Austin?

Mark! Tupper Lake... done. a slow swim at 45 min, solid bike- avg. 20.6 mph and a slow run (8:50 pace) for a finish at 5:26:22 (unofficial). Disappointed with the run most but all in all, what a great course- hilly! the bike was FUN. Thought of you rockin' it out there last year. Promised you I would let you know. Nothing posted online yet. Talk to you soon.
