  • Re: Prone bar Roll.....who is still doing it?

Larry_T:at a Quarterly the lead presenter told us something that gets neglected on the notes or DVD. Was there an explanation as to why this occurred? In any case it presents the problem as to who/which is correct?

  • Re: Pump DVD and Equipment

pipera:That was over 3-years ago. The time space here is over 3-years ago. over nearly 3 years ago What was that time frame again? Not sure I got it. Makes no difference. You weren't an instructor then and aren't one now.

  • Re: Diet - for maintaining weight

Soundlab:As I say, I'm only just starting to look into my diet properly now. Look carefully at your carb intake too. Not the quantity, but the type. Fruits, while being preferable to ''snacks'', contain mostly short-chain sugars so are rapidly assimilated in the gut and cause a similar spike in blood sugar. Eat enough, and you lose the health ...

  • Re: How good is the warm-up from BP 72???

gail1371:Unusual as in the order of the exercises!!!   I like a change around in the chorey occasionally - keeps it fresh rather than deadrows, deadlifts, uprights etc.....  As long as it works - ie: graduate the track and save the o/h work until after we've warmed up a bit. If it does, then thumbs up for adding variety without having to ...

RPMfreak:A point that has been overlooked so far is including the ''right'' types of fat into your diet.  Agree, maximising the proportion of unsaturated vs saturated fat is important. Especially since fatty acids are an important substrate for muscle ATP generation and for cellular synthesis. Another important aspect is that there are ...

RPMfreak:  I've done it 3 x this week and I am settling into the release.  Wow, you've launched already. We won't be seeing it for another few weeks yet. When you say the chore is unusual, is that just in terms of timing, or has the usual order of back work/overhead work/leg work/rows/biceps been played around with?

michelle_0710:Just wondering how many people are doing the Abs tracks with the Prone bar Roll in it? What coincidence. It's just appeared on one of our instructor's current playlist. No problem at our gym with metal plates and a parquet floor. Not so easy with the new Reebok weights.

tiger75:... whey proteins. Are they healthy for your body in long term? I doubt...  Whey protein is mostly casein extracted from milk, so there is nothing ''unhealthy'' about it. The liver is extremely efficient at metabolising excess intake, so the only thing you'll hurt is your wallet.

Somewhat reminiscent of Back To Basics. Good tune. I hope the chore does it justice.
