• Re: RPM emailer

Hiya Mike, I'd recommend creating a ''Group'' page in your Facebook account (if you have one). If not, make a Facebook account for yourself, add a Group page for you ''club within a club'' and then encourage your participants to Join the club. You can limit access to only those who come to your classes, if you wish. That way, everyone can ...

LOL. Thanks much Mr T, Me too. Glen is a card. He probably picked out Track 7. He's such a ''rocker'' you know. And, of course, he always sings along with his faves. :-) Though it's not a REALLY big deal, but could you say what track 9 is my friend?

I see someone else answered your question... Oceania. It is on RPM 13 as a track 3. Makes for great imagery while describing a hilly Mt Bike ride. All kinds of possibilities. I love using it. I also like this video of the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gb1FnUH1mxE You might find this interesting, also, if you're a Les Mills FREAK like ...

  • Re: Question for RPM instructors

Oh. forgot to answer your second question... Here in Texas we really don't have a lack of RPM classes. All the Golds Gyms here have RPM almost every day of the week. And RPM is growing in Texas in other gyms as well. Group Cycling is still here and probably will be forever. I did notice, looking around the country, that other parts, such as your ...

Hiya Monica, About your throat. I'm not a Dr (almost was, but not of medicine, mind you ), but I have had my share of sore throats. If it's scratchy sore (or burning when you cough) a humidifier or vaporizor at night always helps me. And of course switching to nice cool stuff to each or drink. Medicine? Well, I'm the type that would ...

  • Re: Question for RPM instructors

You're most welcome. I used to just rely on Gels and Sports drinks like Gatorade and always cramped the last 5 miles of my Marathons and after about 4 hours on a bike ride. Then, my coach at a Triathlon camp explained about the salt and sodium needs. I have never crampt again after figuring out that I needed 4 salt stick pills an hour ...

  • Re: Question for RPM instructors

Hiya Monica, You hate Bananas? Well, lady, take it from an endurance athlete who's done a little research. The main reason for the bananas is the Potassium that your muscles need to last the day. If you can find Papaya.... now we're talkin' MEGA Potassium (almost twice as much as bananas). It can be messy, of course, but a lot of health food ...
