• Re: Prone bar Roll.....who is still doing it?

Just did it last night (Sweet Escape - Gwen Stefani). I love that song, but find our thin metal plates are quite wobbly on the wood floor (the edge is beveled, not flat). I don't find the prone bar roll as challenging as the hover, either. Will probably change to a hover or sub in a different song to my Thanksgiving mix when I ...

  • Re: Initial instructor training question

You'll learn very little choreo at your initial training. You will have one track to learn and present for Day 2 and another for Day 3. Most of the class is about technique and how to be an effective instructor. The choreo you get to learn on your own (they will drill 100% into your brain!!) after the weekend. Have fun!

  • Re: Hardest Legs/Squats Track

Voo-doo Child has 5 sets of 8 bottom halves (just did it for my Halloween Mix). The last three sets are in the final round. Not sure of the bottom half count in Piece of My Heart, but if I remember correctly, they are spread out a bit more. Jamie

  • Re: How to avoid back problems during chest tracks?

tiger75: Jus for curiosity, why they shift from legs up to plant your heels 'only' in the 60s? A notice of error from their part? I am not sure of the definite answer to your question, but Glen took over as PD around rel 59 or 60. That could be the reason for the change. BTW, how has your back been feeling lately? ...

Another way to check that your elbows don't drop below the top of the bench is to put a rigid mat on top of the bench. When your elbows hit the mat you went too far. Jamie

  • Re: Knee pain.

Good idea to stop when the pain hit. We can't diagnose you here (and really, would you want us to?!). If the pain persists you should see a doctor. Jamie
