Xprincess:We have wooden floor, so don't think that's a problem...(??)
Not if it's a sprung wooden aerobic floor which is excellent. The standard American basketball court is very hard in comparison with an aerobic floor.

Xprincess:Hey Rex, What do you mean by 'removing the impact from the high options'? (FYI, I also have dodgy knees, just to add to the fun:) )
Hard to say it better than LisaG did in this earlier post in this very thread.
Also from an earlier post in this thread :
You should NEVER HAVE TO jump off the bench. Lower one foot, transfer ...

Chi-Chi:My impression of the Zumba classes that I took was that the instructor was making it up as she went. The cueing (if there was any) was late and not very helpful. I think I speak for most participants--we want to know what's coming next. I want some notice of directional changes. I love Body Jam because of the choreography. I feel like I'm ...

ErinC: ''Can you guys believe how cool we look right now?!'' It's pretty awesome.
LOL! Took my girlfriend's kids (ages 8 & 10) to BJ last release when we (the class) were well into it and feeling perty funky. They lasted lasted about 5-10min into the front half (after the warmup) before they were cracking up and left for the ...

Actually I did give quite a bit of info on my past marathons which you would have noticed ...

mellag: But it wasn't as fun, the cue-ing was hard to follow, I didn't like looking at their back, and I wanted to hear their voices and see their expression. I miss the high of BJ.
True, there is less cue-ing; maybe you're just spoiled by BJ. NONE of our instructors teach facing away from the class. Lots of chatter and color, just ...

mellag:Only part I don't like is Mambo everywhere. LOL! Too disorganized.
Me too! I can't find the ''feel'' of this move yet. Seems one footed.

Xprincess:So yesterday I decided to 'really go for it' (it was only a 45 min class) and went for high options for the first time since my injury. Well, I nearly made a HUGE mistake.
So if you are in the process of recovery, please please do not rush it, it is really not worth the price you might be paying at the end.
MAYBE it was about as ...
