    yes, the downward punch is a bit risky I think. When it appeared in track 5 in BC34(?) I felt it in my upper back. In BC36 T7 there are not so many, so that's ok. But I tend to hold back on that particular move a little bit...just be careful

  • Heart rate and phases in BC

    In theory we're supposed to have a first phase (tracks 1-3) and then a second phase 4-6, etc. (the interval training regime). I was under the impression that power tracks (e.g. 3) should peak the heart rate and that we then would have a slower pace in e.g. track 4.However, since we use jump kicks/ESK that means even harder work, right?     Another opinion on hand wraps: They can be a good help for the instructor, since hand wraps or wrist bands (or even gym gloves!) give a stronger visual indication on which hand is leading, or which direction all should travel, etc. - compared to a bare hand.
