I go back on my releases to 34, and I've noticed a new trend on the shoulder tracks.....using the same music (or close) from ''older'' releases, and re-choreying it. Thunderstruck was dreadful for me to learn in 70, because I learned it way back when, and now here comes 71 with another shoulder remake. Is this hard for any of you other ...

I lately love ''If you have a towel with you, you have a choice. You can choose whether to throw in the towel or use it to wipe the sweat off your face!''

My advice is, when you're just learning and trying to figure out the whole chorey/technique/teaching thing, don't focus soooo much on the entertainment aspect. We had a new instructor that was so into cracking jokes, etc., that she missed the whole big picture on Bodypump. Sure, it's great to be entertained, but not if it comes at the ...

Try this: tell your class there is a pile of money on the floor, and they are trying to pick it up with their ''cheeks''. They don't want to drop it on the way up, so squeeze tight!!
For chest, I tell ...

I have had young girls text during lunge tracks with the bar on their backs. Now that takes talent OR stupidity OR both. I have one lady that insists on doing jumping jacks or bent over rows or SOMETHING in between tracks, but will usually not finish the actual track we are doing. But the most memorable thing I've had ...

I love all the motivational phrases that are popping up in our instructional DVD's like ''When your body starts to scream, tell it to shut up''. I really like using things like that during tough tracks. I was hoping you'd share some of your so we could all get some new material. What's something you tell your class when they need ...

Whenever I am done with the weeks that I have to present the newest release, the very first squat track I do after is always ''Voodoo Child''. My classes and I always compare the newest release with this one, because we feel it is the hardest one we've had. Nothing has touched it so far! I do hear that ''It's Raining Men'' was ...
