For my training, we only had to present one track (other programs were different) and yes you learned it for a short amount of time during the actual training but basically overnight.
For me, my Saturday night was absolutely no big deal, because I had ridden the release I trained on to death before training and I knew the choreo. (I was just ...

NZGlen: There's also Excalibur, Ballroom Blitz, Come on feel the noise, You can't touch this, the list goes on and on and on... (and there's another track reused in BC43)
Ohmigod you are kidding me right. Ballroom Blitz was used again? I thought it was the most pathetic excuse for a track 5, and a terrible song. And it was a repeat? Jeez it's ...

I am 100% with you SG7982. I have complained about this myself. In fact, I joked ('cept I'm not really joking ...) that Dan and Rach should choreography the cooldowns for other programs too, because theirs rock and too many of the BP ones are just terrible. There are a lot of them that are just too damn cheesy (''Dare to Live'', ''You Raise Me ...

Are you a new instructor? If so, I'd say definitely don't do it. There's too much to learn already, and you'll just end up half-a**ing both of 'em.
If you're a seasoned instructor with tons of programs under your belt, maybe ... but my guess is, if you were, you'd know whether you find it hard/easy to learn choreo and wouldn't even need to ask ...

travislchristensen:I just passed intial training and I'm learning my first release. I'm having a hard time keeping the beat. Do you have any tips for staying on beat. Thanks.
1. It's great that you are noticing that you are off! That is the first step. Many instructors with timing issues just don't ...

If you do two hours (or ten!) of Combat a day but still eat more than you're burning, no amount of exercise will have you lose weight. Diet truly is 90% of the equation, that's where you need to really scrutinise. The other issue might be that you'll injure yourself exercising too much.
Weight loss truly is just math. (Perhaps being an engineer ...

Hey there. So my information is second hand (a friend is an assessor.) But here's the deal as far as I see it. Don't do it for the money, especially if you're a somewhat meticulous type personality. The pay isn't much and it assumes you spend one hour on each video (one hour to watch, write the assessment, everything.) And as you know, ...

Is there an old thread for good shoes for Jam? (I know there are a bunch for Combat.)
I wear Nike Free trainers for Combat but they're not great in Jam - the turning isn't working in this particular shoe. I've found the Nike Zoom Essential trainer work pretty good in Jam, actually, but I've owned (seriously) about eight pairs of 'em and would ...

turnitup59:
Also check out the timing in track 2. Is it that Glen and Mark are different heights or are they just out of sync?
Different heights can mean it takes people longer to get to the ''bottom'' aka there's more distance to cover. Different sized instructors may look like they're at different points of the squat (aka look out of time ...

Knee pain normally means your knee is too far forward. Over the push point really means on top of the push point, not in front of it. If your seat is perhaps a little too far forward as it is, sliding forward may push you TOO FAR forward. I'd recommend getting your set up checked again, maybe you can perfect it a little.
