  • Compulsory Cues

I am learning BodyPump 80 to prepare for my assessment video and I'm getting frustrated learning the Compulsory Cues. I thought the Choreography was going to be the hard part but this is pretty challenging for me. What's the best way to organize your thoughts and say the right thing during each track? I just want to get this assessment video over ...

  • cueing 1/1/2

What's your favorite way to cue 1/1/2 moves?  I'm finding it sort of ...awkward.

The type of laryngophone the military uses still has a separate unit for the battery and transmitter that soldiers have to wear. Mine is a one-piece unit with everything built in. It's like the difference between a cell phone and a landline. They both allow you to talk to people, but the cell phone is way cooler. :-) I think you'd like it if you ...

  • Re: Microphone problems

I've used the headphone mic you're talking about. It has a little bulb that rests near the back of your neck. The bulb has a battery and transmitter inside it. It's awful! It bounces up and down while you're trying to teach, and if any sweat gets in it, you're done. It won't work anymore. My microphone doesn't have that problem. Anyone who can ...

  • Microphone problems

I've been a Body Step instructor for three years, and I love it! But tonight in class, I had problems with the gym's microphone AGAIN. The belt was all twisted up, so I clipped the battery pack directly onto my leggings. I was afraid to be too vigorous, because I was scared the jumping would cause the battery to fall out! Unfortunately, this is ...

jen123:It has taken me longer to appreciate this release but I find I really like it now.  I had to find a way to present it that was enthusiastic.  The participants like it more now than at first.  It is a good hard ride.   Track 7 has gone from ''iffy'' to well recieved.  I will be playing this release for long ...

  • Blooper cues

Hi there, I'm a new instructor, and my team and I went through training in December on release 37.  I submitted a post looking for some good, solid cues, so please check that one as well (Good cues).  This thread though, was inspired by some I saw under Pump.  What have you said while teaching class that maybe didn't come out quite ...

  • Good cues

Hey all, I'm a new RPM instructor preparing with my team to launch the class in our club and our area.  There are spinning classes at some of the other ''gyms'' in town, but chances are slim that any of the locals have experienced RPM.  We (the instructor team) went through training together in December on release 37 and got some great ...
