Profile

Hi, my name is Hiromi. I am teaching Body Step, Body Pump & Body Combat. I am originally from Japan and I've lived in Columbia for nearly 10 years. I enjoy teaching class most of the time, but sometimes I still get nervous. It is such a good experience to be able to teach deferent fitness levels and ages. LM changed my life! I am not so shy anymore...yeah!! I think I am becoming a LM nut, aren't I?
Thanks for all my trainers, Joella Hopkins, Genny Hull & Lisa Gregory. Yes, they are world class!

I am working on my English 24/7. I can't roll my tongue sometimes so it sounds like I am making new words, which sometimes can be pretty funny. My people even helps my English sometime. I love them!!

I enjoy seeing the people that come to my classes; they are so warm and some have turned out to be great friends. I love to connect to them, it is such a great feeling.

I will continuously get better and teach my students how good you can feel after great work out, sometimes it can make a bad day much better.

Maybe, I teach a class in Japanese sometime and surprised them with a new language. Can you picture them freaking out, yeah?

Thanks chica!! I'm glad you got it - I'm also glad you liked it. It was so fun - and yes, the Christmas outfits were hysterical. Not exactly the most flattering outfits. I think Sara's was the only one that actually fit. Lisa and I were drowning in ours! ha ha Of course the shout out was directed at you!!!! :)

Message arigatou! Glad to hear from you, and I wish I could chat with you in Japanese!! Yes, I totally understand your feeling....I am making people laugh with my English, too. JAPANIGLISH is very nice word!
I was born and raised in Japan, moved to US 1998(yes, 10 years ago). I started to work fitness industry in Japan...I believe more than 25 years ago. :O I changed my carrier when I moved in US, because I felt I've had enough. But here I am now. And I really enjoy my work. Sounds like you do as well. And yes, I hope we can get together sometime in the future!

Konnichiwa(or Konbanwa?) Hiromi-san, hajimemashite!
It is very nice to know I am not only the one who has been studying English - for....I don't know how long. Yes, I am originally from Japan, live in WA right now. I teach 4 LesMills programs, and work as a group fitness director, also personal trainer at local fitness club. I really enjoy teach LesMills programs - but it is very challenging, isn't it? Especially, BODYFLOW...I memorized all words from choreography note very first time, but I am comfortable to use my own words now, finally!
Very nice to meet you. Douzo yoroshiku!

I am laughing so hard! I really thought you lost your "lunch" - meaning you were going to throw up. ha ha

I tried writing you back yesterday, but not sure if you got it. I was saying that for the entire quarterly round (everywhere I presented) I told everyone how much I loved track 6 and Quiet Riot!!!! Now you're telling me it is Twisted Sister and I feel like a totally idiot. How embarassing! Nobody told me I was wrong the whole time.

See you're not the only one who does embarassing things!

Good seeing you again. As usual, the dinner area is so crowded and we never get much time to chat. Oh well - we always have e-mail.

xoxo

Hiromi,

You are so funny! Hearing about you kicking that guy made me laugh. Not that you hurt him, but that you didn't know you could kick that high. Reading that started my day off right.

It was so good to see people I knew in the front at the Combat class in Chicago. I was nervous, but loved seeing the Columbia combatters owning the front row.

Keep the fight sister!
