Ongoing Education and Training

Les Mills’ instructors receive ongoing training and education to help them to continually improve their mastery of the five key elements of filling classes.

Attending quarterly training workshops is critical to the ongoing education process and instructors are encouraged to attend these events whenever possible.

Quarterly workshops are arranged by Les Mills’ agents and distributors on a regional or national basis. They are usually held in licensed clubs or, in the case of larger, ‘super-quarterlies’, in convention centers or university sports stadiums.

Les Mills’ Program Directors and international presenters often travel to quarterly workshops to assist the national trainer teams who are primarily responsible for workshop sessions.

The sessions focus on the new quarterly program releases, with instructors joining master classes and working closely with the trainers to ensure they will deliver the best possible classes when they return to their clubs.

Quarterly workshops are also vital forums for re-inspiring instructors and renewing their energy and passion for the programs.

Instructors have the opportunity to network and socialise with friends and colleagues and renew the close ties that bind members of Les Mills' ‘global family’ together.
