Susan Renata

Training Director for BODYPUMP™

is Training Director for BODYPUMP™ and International Master
Trainer for BODYSTEP™. Joining Les Mills in 2002, Susan moved to the U.S in 2005 and was instrumental in the expansion of the company into the U.S market. She then took her passion for training and presenting and spent two years in Holland helping to set up Les Mills Europe. Married to Steven Renata, the latest addition to the BODYPUMP™ family is baby Grace, born in 2008. Susan’s dedication and experience make her an internationally respected trainer and presenter.

 

Lisa Osborne

BODYATTACK™ Program Director

Lisa is Program Director for BODYATTACK™ and Research and Development Director for BODYSTEP™. A passionate advocate for the fitness industry and the LES MILLS™ programs, Lisa began her career with a Physical Education Diploma in 1990. She went on to become a highly successful aerobics competitor with five successive Australian aerobics championships and three international titles to her credit. Before joining Les Mills International she also toured and presented at conventions for Australian Fitness Network.

 

Jackie Mills

BODYBALANCE™ Program Director

Medicine and fitness have proved to be a powerful combination for Jackie. A qualified obstetrician and general medical practitioner, with further qualifications in gymnastics, aerobics and dance, Jackie has used her expertise in the development many of the LES MILLS™ programs. She was instrumental in creating BODYBALANCE™/BODYFLOW™ and has guided its development from being a yoga-to-music class to a holistic class with its own distinctive and unique identity.

Jackie and partner Phillip Mills were brought together by their fitness interests and ran fitness clubs in Australia before Jackie started her medical studies in New Zealand.

Dan Cohen

BODYCOMBAT™ Program Director

Dan lives and breathes his art. He has a black belt in kickboxing and Lau Gar Chinese boxing and a junior black belt in Shotokan Karate. He won the 1996 British Masters kickboxing competition and came second in the world kickboxing championships the following year. He is also an expert in weaponry with specialist knowledge in the use of the sword and Num-Chuks.

Dan was a member of the 1998 training team which introduced BODYCOMBAT™ to the United Kingdom, earning considerable credit for the program’s success in that market.

Rachael Cohen

BODYCOMBAT™ Program Director

A former United Kingdom national trainer in BODYCOMBAT™, BODYJAM™ and BODYATTACK™, Rachael was also a member of the UK launch team for BODYJAM™ in 2003.

Rachael has an honors degree in sports management as well as qualifications in drama and classical and contemporary dance. She has also attended a Wing Chun Kung Fu school and has been tutored by husband Dan in other martial arts.


Gandalf Archer

BODYJAM™ Program Director

Gandalf has devoted his life to dance and has an extensive background in teaching and performance. His natural flair, charisma and desire to bring dance to the masses make him the perfect role model for this highly innovative program which he has been involved in for more than a decade.

“G” and his team regularly work alongside international dance-fitness stars to ensure their choreography is up-to-the- minute with the latest dance and music trends.

Glen Ostergaard

BODYPUMP™ & RPM™ Program Director

Glen is Program Director for RPM™ and BODYPUMP™. Glen has a long history with Les Mills, beginning at its Christchurch, New Zealand club in the early 1990s as a BODYATTACK™ and BODYPUMP™ instructor and personal trainer. He added RPM™ to his teaching repertoire and developed an aptitude for choreography and program development to match his outstanding presentation skills. Glen combines a mastery of the Les Mills group fitness experience with an instinctive understanding of its appeal to class participants.

 

Mark Nu'u

BODYSTEP™ Program Director

Program Director for BODYSTEP™ since 1994, Mark has had a profound influence on the development of modern step aerobics. Through his passion for, and intuitive understanding of this form of exercise, he has helped it evolve into a highly disciplined fitness option offering fast results and a sky-high entertainment factor. A former aerobics competitor at national and international level, Mark complements his ongoing development work on BODYSTEP™ with a high energy and inspiring presentation style which teachers everywhere try to emulate.

 

Susan Trainor

BODYVIVE™ Program Director

More than a dozen years as a professional dance choreographer are just part of the credentials Susan Trainor brings to her role as Program Director for BODYVIVE™. Susan also has a background in teaching and performance that includes stints with some of the leading dance companies in both Australia and New Zealand. Susan has also fitted in acting work in film and television.
