Hi Everyone,

I've been instructing for approximately 25 years. When I first started there was no choreography just good old freestyle, infact classes were so freestyle all we did was run and jump and very little else.

I've been leading Les Mills classes for approximately 8 years starting with BodyStep followed by BodyPump and then BodyBalance and would like to train in BodyVive in the near future.

My favourite program has got to be BodyStep followed closely by BodyBalance and then BodyPump. I enjoy leading classes as much today as when I first started probably even a little more as I'm far more relaxed and confident now and don't beat myself up when I make mistakes.

Feel free to leave a message or just say hi, or add me to your friend list, promise I will reply!

Dare to be different! Never ever give up! Always be the best you can!

Hi Connie,
Just wanted to say hello. It's been a long time. How are you? I'm still teaching only RPM. I have recently retired from a local hospital after 30 years of employment to collect my pension. I am doing contract work a couple of days a week only doing Echocardiograms and my new mantra is "live joyfully" so that's what I'm doing.

Dan will be doing an RPM intenive training in Tampa next week and I'm so excited about that.

Hope you are doing well.

Hugs,
Linda

Hi Connie,
Good to hear from you, and as you can see I am still as crap as ever at checking my mail! Hope your well, myself and my family had a holiday at Noosa and loved, the sunshine coast rocks.
I really like release 42 for newbee's and I think the musics pretty good, but it is a bit tame. There are several gyms at surfers that do les mills, I know that Golden Door is one and Beach house, not sure about any others though, although i'm pretty sure that there is a fitness first that has just opened.
Covered loads of balance classes this past week, everyone is off enjoying the sunshine.
What have you been up too?
Best wishes
Pauline

Yep I am back in the swing, given up training for the great north run though - got IBT syndrome so am not running until the day and if I am in pain I will just walk. We are having a launch day the day before also with all the new releases - I can't wait and am desperate to go so will probably be aching for the run and have to go slow anyway. Married life is fine, nearly a year now can't believe it has gone so fast!! Am going to practise this bird thing at home!

Hey Connie, tried a new balance class this weekend and the instructor did an old release -I was introduced to the birdie position for the first time - is this something the average les mills class participant should be able to do?? I am quite fit and fairly strong from pump (although not as strong as instructor obviously) but I could not do it all!
