YEAH!! I received my certification in Body Pump!!! A hugh thank you to everyone that helped me through this process! Sarah, Tessa, Janel, Barb you guys ROCK! Looking forward to launching BP 70! The music is AWESOME!

The journey continues!!! This weekend I survived the initial Body Pump training!!! What a BLAST!!! I love Release 68 and Barb Knutson rocked as a trainer!!! I met wonderful, powerful women in class with 'big muscles'!!!!! Hope to see many of you at the Quarterly in Menasha, WI!!!

Thanks to the wonderful training of Laura and the awesome support of Melissa, Jen, Val and the whole team at our club, I made it through step training and received notice of certification August 26th!!!! YEAH!! What a Blast!!!

I turned 50 in 2005 and decided to make some major changes in my life. You see, I was 30 lbs overweight, a total couch potato and couldn't open the pickle jar!!! I joined a local health club with a neighbor and tried to work out on my own. BORING!!! I got the nerve up to enter a step class and thought I would pass out after 15 minutes! (The instructor thought I'd pass out too!!) But, I stuck with it and started taking Pump. I became a total Les Mills addict!! Now, 3 years later, I actually survived the initial Body Step training!! YEAH! Not too bad for a Grandmother! I met a bunch of terrific gals who I'm hoping will help me complete the certification! Les Mills not only changed my body, it changed my attitude!

My husband of 26 years, Dave, hasn't become a Les Mills convert yet, but I'm still working on him!! We share a love of motorcycle riding and sailing, have 5 kids and 3 grandsons. I look forward to being healthy and 'there' for them for a long time to come!!!

Hey, Allison - thanks so much for your msg!

The "space" theme was really fun to work with from a coaching and connecting perspective, so I'm hopeful that that came through in the filming.

It was, like, 8 million degrees in Studio 1 when we filmed, so we're juicy little space cadets -- LOL!

And now we'll be launching this release here in July, where it will most likely be about 8 million degrees... ;)

There's no escaping it!

Hope you're well!

Hi, Allison! Great to get your msg, and thanks so much for introducing yourself at the Q -- I enjoyed getting to chat w/you and share the joy of the new releases...

Watch out for those Peak tracks in STEP -- wow, they're real huffers this go 'round, eh? :)

I left DC when it was 70 degrees and flew into WI right after it had snowed 8"...so imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning to 8" of snow...in DC! :)

I can't get away from it - LOL!

Have a great week, and thanks again for your msg!

Hugs,

N

Hey lady!

Did you get your video sent and the evaluation done? Let me know if you are officially certified and teaching!

FYI - I'm still out with shin splints - even the slightest thin sets them back. I don't know when I'll even be able to go to a class again - let alone teach one! I'll probably have to go to training again if I do decide to get my certification!

We're still back and forth between MPLS. and Appleton - mostly in MPLS. unless we don't get our house sold this month - then we'll be back in Appleton again.

Hey lady,
How are you? Did you send your video in? I filed for an extension until August 13th because I keep getting shin splints. My knees hurt when I get them too. I'm kind of bummed about it, but I have to prevent further injury (like a stress fracture) so I'm trying to practice step with only low options and am doing more weight lifting. I started back with personal training too, so that is good.

Are you subbing for Step yet? I was sure thinking I would be close to done by now. Oh well, it will happen when it happens. I've bought Release 69 from Les Mills and found some on EBAY so ordered 65 and 60, so I'm more than ready to learn a new release!
