Qualified To Teach

My husband & I have lived here for about 36 years (before that - 2 & 1/2 years in Denver; before that in Houston, TX, where I grew up & married). We have been married for 38 & 1/2 wonderful years!
We are very blessed to have our 3 children (daughter and twin sons) and their wonderful mates and our precious grand-children all live within 20 minutes of us! Our grandson, Jacob, is 4 & 1/2 years old; his little brother, Luke, is 2 & 1/2 years old; our grand-daughter, Lizzy, is 2 & 1/2 years old, and our youngest grand-daughter, Alynna is 16 months old. We are so proud of all of them! I have been baby-sitting Aly, full-time, since our daughter returned to her job in January 0f 2008 - it's been over a year now and what a full one!! It is great - Aly is precious and happy.
The fitness industry has been a way of life for me for over 21 years. What a great adventure! I teach Aqua-aerobics 5 days a week and am an Instructor Trainer for the United States Water Fitness Association out of Florida. I've been teaching BodyFlow for 8+ years. I teach 4-5 BF classes each week & have the releases starting with #4, the first one we were allowed to get, and auto-ship on all the rest of them - I love to teach those "older goodies"! I am certified to teach BodyVive too. I have a beginners, intermediate, and advanced certification in pilates and have a group fitness instructor certification through AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Assoc'n of America). I'm also the office manager/secretary for the church to which we belong. I work there 3 part-time days per week. I go to bed really tired at night - :>)!! Things get a bit crazy sometimes, but it's always worth it! All my class participants are great!! Some of them have been with me for years!

Hey Jan, here's your 57 Birthday Wishes for you to enjoy through out the year! Use them wisely since you are still so very young and you know you look much, much younger than you are!! Les Mills looks totally Awesome on you! I miss talking to ya, by reading your updated profile it looks like you're staying very busy and of course happy, it doesn't hurt being up in those mountains too! It's been ages. I'm so sorry.

Jane (my long suffering better half) is opening a skin therapy centre on the 4th of November, and the last three months have been madness, add to that funerals, holidays and classes, and it's been a bit fraught.

But we haven't killed each other and divorce doesn't seem imminent, so I guess we are just about ready to do business.

All Hallows Eve, not really that bothered, trick or treat seems to be creeping in over here, but it's a poor relation to Guy Fawkes night on the 5th, much more fun and way more social.

Anyway, gotta dash.

Be good, and keep the demons at bay.
