Profile

I love Les Mills programs - they have changed my life...for the better!

I just completed my second half marathon with minimal training through running (thanks RPM!), and I could have run longer. Maybe a marathon will be in my future - who knows?? Maybe I'm slowly going insane!

Resistance = Results!

Availability

I am always looking for additional Body Pump and RPM classes. I am available in the early mornings (6am - ouch!) and after 5pm most weekdays.

Hi Marjorie,

Thanks for the b'day greetings!
Yes, I'm officially done with 65.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to admit you're right again. Gwen Stefani shouldn't be in the "Rock Block".
Good luck with the USA's last BP65 launch...

Hi M!
Did you have fun Friday night? I sure did! Always good to learn a little about myself and push my limits. My lower abs are still sore from all that hovering-love it! I am going to try and hover for at least a minute every day if it works that well! Have a great week! See ya at Adrenaline!

Turns out it was the Nike Shox that gave me the shin splints!
No cushioning in the forefoot!

I have a nice comfy cushioned pair of Saucony's now
Took a week off the gym
And now?
Im fabulous :D
Shin splints appear to be totally healed!
How fantastic is that ?? :P
Phase 2 : sort out the knees!!!

How've you been?

Well I used to wear flat trainers wheni first started and i think thats how i hurt myself
Cos i never used to land properly [i landed like an elephant] and i didnt keep my knees soft, and also i never put my heels down when landing aswell so it wasnt doing me any favours

But now i have Nike Shox, had them at least a month id say? But still in pain :(
I really should be resting up but...
I cant help not going to the gym
All my efforts would be undone!
All i do is eat when im not there

Its a vicious cycle :(
But your right, it is painful!!
I wish i was pain free :(
Im on anti inflammatories for my knee
Apparantly it should help wi the shin splints too, man id hate to think how sore theyd b without them! ouch!!!

Ive no luck have i?? xXx
