HI I'm Elaine I live in England and teach in the West Midlands in a town called Stourbridge I teach Body Attack and Body Pump, love teaching it with a passion!
There is nothing better than the buzz you get from seeing a sea of faces loving what you are teaching them and to see the change in the shape of people as the weeks go on, lost count of how many times people tell me how much weight they have lost.
I love my job can't think of anything better to earn a living from, oh and stay fit and healthy at the same time.
I do try and eat healthy but have to admit my weekness is for two C's???.....you know!!! Chocolate and Chardonnay!!...ooops
I am married to John, who supports me in whatever I do and has prooved a brilliant video technician when I have needed to video my classes for assessment, I have 3 children who have to suffer me jumping around in my lounge practising the new releases

Hi Elaine

Hope this finds you in good health and spirit. Have you recieved your new releases yet. I'm loving BP67 don't usually love the pump releases but really enjoy this one, just my type of music and arrangement.

Noticed you have either had or about to have a birthday, either way all the best hope it is/was enjoyable.

Happy birthday from me to you.

Cheers

Aww bless him, boxers are so full of beans aren't they? One of ours Stitchy Richie has a heart problem and he takes these tablets every 8 hours and just after he's had one he goes mad coz they make him so lively - he loves running after his football on the field, it's loevely taking them out when the weather's nicer as well. I'm on iron tablets and have really noticed an improvement, just been to Spain for belated honeymoon and then got a bug so pump last night was my first class in almost 3 weeks - I am so sore today! Really need to get back into the habit as I've put weight on and I feel so sluggish. Going to balance tonight. I need to start training for the Great North Run too - doing it for the first time this year for the dog's trust, I'll be setting up an online sponsorship page soon if you're interested.I've never ran more than 6 miles in one go before and that was on the treadmill I'm not really a road runner plus I'm doing it all by myself so I'm a bit scared! I signed up for it because of Elvis - I got a dog's trust newsletter about this little staffie cross puppy whod been abandoned with his litter mates but no one wanted to adopt him because he had a hare lip and couldn't eat properly - he was so cute I had to email and donate and a woman replied saying he'd been adopted by a lovely couple and I was so pleased I thought I'd do the GNR. Was thinking about getting one of those runner's Sat nav things for £50 where you wear a thing on your shoe and it measures your miles - I'll have to just keep going round the block coz I'm frightened of being knocked over on the road!!

Hi Elaine,

Nice to hear from you. Glad you enjoyed Sunday, it was great fun!! The new releases are rocking, enjoy launching them.

At the rate you're going I bet you'll be teaching when you're 60. If I look as good as you when I'm your age, I'd be well impressed so hats off to you. You're an inspiration to those who feel the older you get, the more inclined you are to become a couch potato.

Keep at it girl,

Niamh xx

That's nice when you give an old dog a home bless him. Well I've had to take a rest from exercise this week - think I'm anemic, had a blood test and been called back on Wed so having a break til I've seen the doctor again as been reading how the body is starved of oxygen. I have been struggling with cardio work recently but I thought it was just the warmer weather and I've been lightheaded when I stand up for ages but another doctor said it was normal but it's a symptom of anemia too. I don't eat red meat. I am worried my muscles will whither in the space of a week which is probably very silly! I probbaly wouldn't bother with exercise so much if I was blessed with a naturally toned body - it makes me so jealous when you know people that only eat takeaways and they look fab without exercising - at least I know I'm healthy on the inside - or will be once I get some iron!! Let me know how the boxer gets on! Saw the pups on Fri and they're lovely but I do prefer them a bit bigger, puppies are all beautiful but sometimes the finished dog is better!

Hello, that sounds like a lovely place to have a wedding! We're going to see the pups now they're bigger at the weekend - I think we can resist temptation although there are a couple of older dogs to be rehomed we may not be able to resist! Is your son in England looking for a breeder? We are near Newcastle and the breeders we know are in the north east kind of near Durham but my geography isn't so good.I'm trying to lose my little pot belly before our holidays nexy month so I'm doing as many classes as I can! Am only going to be able to pump once this week though coz of the bank hol - love having the day off but it cocks up my regime!!

Yeah we do that, because they're not that common we love to meet other people with them, it's funny most of them you meet have human names as well. Eddie, the one on my profile pic, won best in show at the dogs trust fun show a couple of years ago and there were loads of Bassets there it was great to meet them and they definitely recognise their own breed. Also, my mum's friend is a breeder and she's going to watch one of her dogs have pups (expected 11!) this weekend. Just hope she doesn't come away with another one as 4 is enough. How are you finding BP65? Was going to up my weights last night but I couldn't go coz I had my implant taken out of my arm and I was worried I'd tear it open so will have to wait til Monday now. Crikey what an essay!!

Hi Elaine,

Thanks for the friend request, consider yourself befriended. I look forward to chatting throughout the year.

It always amazes me that there are so many "seasoned" instructors around. Here I'm a bit of a dinosaur not many older instructors anymore, not where I am anyway a couple but this site has heaps.

Drop by my profile anytime and feel free to leave a message, promise to reply.

Take Care
Connie
