In a nutshell, I've always been atheletic. Basketball, tennis, softball, flag football, skiing, volleyball.... all a big part of my life. Fitness has been part of "who I am" since I was started playing T-ball at 5 years old! I love exercise and I feel that it is very important to take care of your body --- and have FUN while doing it!
So... Body Combat was (and still is) my favorite group fitness class; I decided to become an instructor. AND, not surprisingly, I LOVE IT!

Okay, I was TAGGED... Let's see.... I am not sure there ARE 6 interesting facts about me... LOL

1. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and I specialize in helping 3-5 year old children with special needs. Autism and Asperger's are two disorders I really enjoy learning about and treating.

2. I am from Georgia, and moved down to St. Pete in 1998. I didn't know anyone here - just wanted a fresh start and to build my own life. October will be 10 years I have lived here. Whoa...

3. I am dating my Highschool sweetheart again. We dated throughout my highschool years and on and off into college. We both married other people, ended up getting divorced around the same time, and somehow ended up back together.

4. I have two cats, who I consider to be my children. I actually treat them like children (well, except for the litterbox and catfood.....). I am an animal lover. I used to be a volunteer at the SPCA.

5. I don't like, nor have I ever liked sodas. My parents thought I was crazy because I asked for water or juice when I was young, and never liked any carbonated drink.

6. I love photography. I take thousands of pictures every year and am almost always equipped with a camera. I think it is important to capture life's moments so you can look back and remember them.

Hey Erin! Sorry it took me awhile to get back to you. I am pretty lame when it comes to updating my profile, etc. on here. Facebook is consuming too much of my time, I guess. :) So awesome to hear that Russie's SIL is a Les Mills freak like me! And, I am down in the St. Pete/Tampa area quite a bit. I always check out different gyms while I'm there. Are you at the one on 4th Ave.? I took a BodyStep class there last summer. My SIL lives in South Tampa, so I usually go to the LifeStyle in Hyde Park, but I make it to several when we visit. We're actually going to be down there in a couple of weeks for our Spring Break.

Our gym does have combat, but the Suwanee location isn't offering it right now. The Buford location (where I also teach) has a couple Combats during the week. I teach BodyStep and BodyAttack.

Our Super Quarterly is this weekend here in Gwinnett. I'm so excited!! I'm attending the BodyStep and BodyAttack intensives on Friday and then the Quarterly on Saturday. Glad that I'll have Sunday to rest!

Please let me know if you are heading this way. I would love to meet you in person. Also, when do you teach in St. Pete? I may try to sneak in a class.

Jennifer	Hello, nice to meet a fellow Combat instructor. Unfortunately, our Les Mills gym closed and there are no other gyms with Les Mills in the Brunswick area :( It is very sad. I miss Combat and Pump terribly.
