Wow! I find myself speechless, a near impossible feat, thinking of how to express my gratitude to the Les Mills programs. Nearly six years ago, I found myself in a "hamster wheel" of sorts, just having given birth to my third daughter. I joined East Hills, and found new reasons to be excited, mainly, body combat! Along came the fourth pregnancy, where body pump became my saving grace. After my fourth daughter and repeated arm twisting from a wonderful instructor Cassi Hofmann, I decided to take the plunge....could my mouth work in sync with my body? I had never instructed before but found hope and inspiration in my body combat trainers, who thought I was a "seasoned instructor." Still wondering if they were refferring to my age........ Since my training, I have become the fittest that I ever have been and continue to keep getting stronger. I love empowering people to take control of their lives and find that place that makes them whole. For me, East Hills and the Les Mills programs are my assurance that the hamster wheel of long ago, stays very far, far away!

Hi Sara. Good to hear from you! I just read your full profile and all I can say is WOW! Great story for everyone.

We have not launched 67 yet. Our launch weekend for all the new program is Oct 17-19th. I think our club delays the launch a bit because we have quite a few instructors that have multiple releases to learn each qtr. I'm starting to warm up to the music. The first time I heard 66, I loved it. Rel 67 is taking a little while. I'm finally locked in to a time slot - Monday at 6AM !! I actually decided to take a bit of a risk for myself and taught release 55 this week. Many people had never done that old of a release, so it was interesting and challenging to them.

Glad to hear from you and see that you are doing well !!!!!

5:30am BP is rough yes, I have taught some 6am-ers before, but at SQ, 300 people + that early does = CRAZYYYYY.

I am very sad to say that I will not be attending. I was all set and paid... but I do have homecoming that weekend (I know, sounds lame) but I have a TON of alumni friends that are coming up. So! :( . Im not sure when other SWAT members are going there, I think some on saturday!

Hope you have fun and I'm mad at myself and I hope you have an amazing time!

I thought about heading to Chicago, but I think I'm holding off this time. I like 67 fine... I like the music more and more each time I hear it, at first I was a little resistant to it (The music for the squat track especially)... but getting warmer. Have fun in Chicago!

Hey there!

Video went ok: I cut myself off a little on the overhead presses, but I needed to get it sent in, so I just sent it anyways. I figure that they aren't going to tell me that I can't teach anymore just because of that, so I didn't worry about it.

there were a lot of conjunctions in that last sentence!

We are releasing 67 in Mid- October. I haven't even looked at it yet! Better get on the ball with that!

Hope all is well!

I'm not sure when the eye twitch will be leaving me. Maybe after we launch combat... Thanks so much for coming to class this am. It's so hard to do 5:30am and then pm in one day. But you're popcorn, so it's nothin' to you:) I can't wait for Chi!
