Qualified To Teach

Profile

I'm a stay at home mom of two boys - ages 2 & 5. My husband is a quality guy for Coca-Cola. The Les Mills programs are one of kind and I'm proud to say, I've finally found something that I truly enjoy doing. There's never a dull moment and just when I think I've got it, something new comes along to challenge the old brain.

Chicago Mania event coming up this weekend (Oct 3-5). This will be our first vacation without the children; exciting and scarey - hope the kids will be fine with grandmommie and poppy. Looking forward to the excitement of my first Q!!! Stay tuned.

10/2 - Found out this morning that I PASSED my assessment. Always thrilling to succeed when failure can be so close. No lie...being a LM instructor is NOT a piece of cake. Thrilling and exhilarating, but no CAKE. Thanks to everyone who supported me and told me I could do something I sometimes wasn't quite sure I could do - you know who you are! ;-) And thanks for the support of the GFM's at Gold's Birmingham. Cindi, Tara and Leslie are fabulous cheerleaders and incredible coaches standing behind their team 110%.

Thank you for the feed back last night. We did have fun with last nights class. Always great when we can make them laugh and have a great workout at the same time. It seems the class has grown over the last few weeks. I dont know about you, but that makes me feel that all the hard work and training was well worth it. Hope we get to team teach sunday. I e mailed Cindi so I will let you know asap.

I am headed to the beach tomorrow for the weekend and will be at work on Monday and hospital on Tuesday. Gosh I am sooooo excited about my life --- beach not eating out - no seafood, no fishing trip I will be a slug sitting on the beach reading, but I can't wait -- Voice is better today. Getter stronger everyday. Just still can't scream, but can make some good sound effects still during combat. Talk soon.

I know what you mean about the bills and money. We were suppose to go on vacation next week to the beach, but with everything else. Stephen is still going on Thursday to go fishing on Friday, I am kinda upset about that becuase I love to go fishing, because I love to beat all the guys with the big fish. I am going to try to ride down there with him and either come back Saturday or Sunday, depending on how I feel. I can't eat out, butI can sit on the beach with a book under the umbrella and try to relax. Call me tomorrow when you get a minute. I did teach Combat last night, it was kinda funny - crack head, no crack and no voice. I did alot of hand signals - not possible with pump. Everyone acted ok with the calss and that they were just ahppy to see me. I hope to try to do it again Sunday and next week with Leslie. I don't feel bad, but my doc keeps telling me I should feel horrible. I truly believe that it is a frame of mind over matter and the fact the I am probably in better shape than most people going thru this crap. "Lesmills Baby" Have a great day.
