Hey darlin! I STILL haven't heard about RPM, sigh...but it's only been 6 weeks and they did say 6-8. I got spoiled with pump--it only took 4 weeks to hear. How's everything?

Oh I thought the rule was "the most weight wins"!? Ha ha ha
Think Justin already answered your question. Or as a rule of thumb; if you barely finnish the track....you can probably lift a little bit more :-)

Hi Helena,
There is a way to keep the recommendations genderless and still target the men in your classes.
Squats: 2-3 times warmup weight
Chest: 1/3-1/2 less than squats
Back: same or slightly more than chest
Triceps: 1/2 of Back
Biceps: track dependent
Lunges: All options (weight, no weight, more weight)
Shoulders: track dependent
Remember that this is only a suggestion and not the golden rule as releases change every quarter and, therefore, weight recommendations change due to different demands.
Go get em,
J

Hi Helena,
As there is no 'official' 1 and 1/2 hour format (most likely due to safety and effectiveness issues), I would err on the side of caution and come up with your own format that doesn't include BODYPUMP, as it risks your integrity as a BODYPUMP instructor, the integrity of the program itself and the licensing agreement breach that would be made by YMCA approving of this.
My first thought would be to use a super-set circuit similar to the BP Challenge that you did in module training. Think 'Bootcamp' style training to challenge the people who are asking for it.
Best of luck!
Justin

OMG, we had such a good time! I'm going to post pictures on my page when I get the chance. Copenhagen was a BLAST! Have you ever been?
I KNEW you'd pass your video--you were so good at training! I sent mine about 3 days before it was due, I had so many camera issues again, sheesh.
