Yea Jackie!! I'm so excited for you :) I know the waiting is hard, but it won't be too long, and then I'll be so looking forward to hear how it all went! :) I am so proud of you, and my whole group in Hatboro!!! Your friends are right - y'all keep pumpin' and steppin' (and I see combatin') :) and it's all good - and we keep being the change we want to see in the world. Have a great weekend and Halloween!

I can't believe Hatboro is adding BodyCombat, but I'm thrilled. I agree with you that it might be better to focus on BS for the time being, only because the choreography for BS and BC can be challenging to learn at the same time. If you were coming to the launch tonight, you would see what I mean! Ha Ha :) It's not impossible, but I got Step first, then Pump about a year later, then Combat six months after that, and I guess it is manageable, in a crazy sort of way. Looking forward to Hatboro's launch! Peace, and have fun tonight. I wish I was going to Marching Band - I was in Abington's Marching Band back in the day! -Angela

Hi Jackie! Good Luck with your tape. I'm getting ready to do mine. I've decided to just do two tapes. I don't want to get to worked up and start over-analyzing everything. Keep pumping and stepping. Please tell the other ladies we trained with "hello!" Let me know the results of your submission.

Hey Jackie girl!
I am so proud of you - you got the dress rehearsal out of the way, and some of those jitters will be less next time around! I totally know what you mean about the nervous jellylegs, though :) I remember the first training I helped with as a trainee, with Darren Watson, I was SO nervous in the Masterclass I almost fell of the doggone step a few times!! Kepp on trucking, and you'll be looking at this point in the rearview mirror, as you move on to the next stage of the journey. :)

You've been busy getting ready for your video! You'll have years and years to learn new releases (but I know what you mean :) ) Get the taping monkey off your back - it sounds like you are doing a wonderful job of preparing - and you'll be ready to take on 77 in all it's pink glory! :) I hope we cross paths soon, and please drop me a line anytime!

Yup, I actually taped for the second time yesterday. The sound was not so great for the first one and apparently it was not great on the second either but I am sending it in. The classes at this gym are just too big to get the camera anywhere close so I will have to live with it. Besides, the 2nd one went a LOT smoother.
Also, I think that the team teaching kicks your butt more - I did not have as much of a hard time keeping my breath when I taught the entire class. I think I was much more nervous having to team teach.
Anywho - I am sending in my tape tomorrow morning and sooooooo looking forward to moving on and having MORE fun learning instead of beating myself up over getting to learn this new Body Step program.
I think your GFM is right - just tape it and get it behind you....you probably know more then you realize and it takes a little push in the right direction.

Hey Jackie! I know what you mean, when I went through training I had been teaching step for years, and Bodystep kicked my butt in a whole new way!! :) It does come though, and you had such solid technique in training - you will come through taping no problem :) For me, Bodystep was just a completely different kind of training than my own steo class, and my body had to condition itself in a new way. That's why I love the education of this new release - #77 - it's great info a on how to train for plyometrics specific to the program.
But in the end, believe in yourself Jackie because you have all the tools you need, and I surely do believe in you!! Have a great weekend, and let me know how things are going up in Hatboro (loved you guys!!) Annie :)

Hi!! It is so good to hear from you. I was just thinking about all of you. I have been teaching, team teaching so far. We all want to get familiar with it before we fly solo. Glad to hear all is well with you. Good luck on your assessment. Tell everyone I said "hello!"

Hi there Jackie! I have been wondering how you and the other gals in the class have been doing with BodyStep! Thanks for the update.
I have taught 4 times now (1x Tracks 1 -4, 3x Tracks 5 - 8) This Friday I will team teach the last Tracks on the Release. I will team teach one more time a week from Thursday and then I do the entire Release on the 18th as a practice for my video taping on 21st.
I opted for more Team Teaching because like you, I feel like I do not have the strength so I have been cross training to build up my stamina. I feel like ALL I have been doing is Body Step - it takes a LOT of determination to get this certification I don't know how people do it. If I do not pass with the Video I will cry. I can not Wait to get to the point where it takes no time at all to learn the releases...it seems like a long way off - for sure.
Our gym has the new release in October and we are not allowed to teach other releases during that time so my time for learning was a bit expedited. On the bright side - I have lost 7 pounds! Woo=hoo.
What else is going on there? Did you have fun on your trips?
