Kia Ora Jay!

My love for Les Mills programs began when I first joined a Pump class a few years ago. Not really sure exactly when but I do remember having my biceps totally smashed for the first time from Walk This Way by Aerosmith, one of the hardest bicep tracks ever. Since then I never looked back. Few years later I'm much leaner and stronger than I've ever been and totally loving every minute of it.

After years of attending classes I finally decided to be an instructor for the two programs I most liked. Training for these two programs came fast and furious. They were only two months apart. I was trained for BP under Frank Drew in January 2007 and have been teaching since then. My training tracks from BP60 were What's Up (squats) and Have a Nice Day (chest). For BC, I was trained by Ben Tang in March 2007. My training track from BC31 was Back in the UK (power3). I am still officially in the roster of LMAP as my training was done in the Philippines.

I moved back to the US in May and now teach both Pump and Combat here in foggy SanFo. I teach BP & BC for UCSF's Millberry and Bakar locations and BP for Gold's Gym San Mateo and Castro. I am now also in the roster of LMWC.

I love everything about Les Mills and I'm totally addicted to their programs and ideals. I discover more about myself every time I step in front of my class to instruct and motivate. I love my students. Their energy and enthusiasm are my adrenaline rush.

Ooops! I misunderstood! Don't ask why, but for some reason I thought you were involved w/the SFMC (Marines). (No, I'm not blonde!) After re-reading your profile I see you were at UCSF!! Silly me!! Enjoy your break from being a student. My son just finished his 3rd year @ UC Riverside and will be spending his summer (10 weeks) doing an internship in DC with the UCDC program. We're all pretty excited for him. He'll be flying out this weekend.

Our family all just got back from 3-days of hard play @ the Colorado River. We went w/a bunch of friends in honor of Father's Day. We had 20-25 of us all tent camping on the beach. Water skiing, rafting, seadooing, boating and floating - Fun , fun, fun! The high was 115 degrees and the low, at night, 79 degrees! Nice & warm! Thankfully the river was a refreshing 65 degrees. I'm SOOOOO sore and tired!! I better snap out of it 'cause Monday has come crashing in!

Hey man,

How's it going? Found you online.

3 things:

1) Kia Ora, hahaha, greetings from the Midwest,

2) Will be at UCSF Sunday to Wednesday so hopefully I can come and do some LMI with you guys over there, found the website... is it possible for me to get a day-pass at the fitness center and

3) read your background, I got my two really fast like you, I got trained in PUMP by Sheldon McBee in August 2007 on BP 62 and then COMBAT by Lisa Gregory in October 2007 on BC 33.

How is SFO? This'll be my first visit.

Hopefully I can come and take some of your classes!

- Javier

Combat tomorrow at 8.15am if ya wanna come!!

Hey so I saw online that there is BP training in Fullerton - I'm thinking, perhaps a club there is going to take on the program? No idea if that's close to you, but just FYI :-) Passing on good news that we're taking over the globe! Well, the USA. We kinda got the rest of the globe covered!!

Welcome to the OC! I've been trying to make it to Michele's combat class for awhile - hopefully I'll get up there soon. Have you thought about trying to train our Marines @ Camp Pendleton? Sounds like you have the experience.
Take Care!

Saw you on Michele's site & thought I'd drop in & say hello - virtually speaking, that is! So are you from Anaheim and in SF or have you recently relocated to Anaheim?
Your BP friend in the OC,
Charlene

Hey, there - it was fantastic and motivating and inspiring to see everyone from san francisco. Like homecoming to see all the old peeps, but even more special because san francisco has exploded for LM in the 8 months that I've been gone. there's such a bigger, better community now for BODYPUMP in the Bay Area and I'm so excited to come back.

But more so, I'm excited to see you out the dance floor! (just maybe not three hours 'fore i'm supposed to be teaching...sheesh!)

Best,
m
