Cool. I'm going to quarterlies this month and I can't wait to try Body Jam. I'll let ya how it was when I get back. OMG, its 40 degrees and frosty this morning up here in Mountain Top.
Hope your launch goes good.
Happy shopping for some new gear. I need to go shopping too.
Have a nice weekend!

...those pics are from Bermuda. I like Zumba because it can be freestyle. I have many LM classes, so there's a lot to review for launches. It's refreshing tohave some freestyle as well.

Hey Jennifer.
Body Jam 48 is one of my favourites but some of my classes just don't get the UF Oh block. Funny how some people can totally love it and some get completely lost.
Yeah, maybe! I'm going back for the filming in Jan/Feb and we'll see from there. I'm really hoping so. It's such a great place and clearly Les Mills is my passion.
Let me know how it goes. Are they doing a survey?

That's pretty far.
Zumba is fun and the members like it because they can do it.
Those are good costume ideas. The corset must have been hot :)

Good for you Jennifer.
Let me know how it goes :)
Do you have Zumba at your club? We cross promote the programs and that helps both be successful.
Yes, I'm going to a Halloween Party. I'm going as "Kiddo" Uma Thurman's Character from Kill Bill with the Blonde wig, yellow jump suit and samurai sword.
Should be good.
How about you?

Just to add to that novel I just wrote: we started showing one or two moves of the new release before we launch to help them feel successful the day of. I also find that they are more successful if there are two or more offered per week. They need the practice in Jam.
Anyway, that's enough from me :)
Happy Halloween

I experience the same thing. Most of my participants are older though and they don't catch on that well. Even with technique weeks and stuff like that, they can't master a salsa. They go to Zumba and love it... but they aren't necessarily doing it correctly. I just cheer them through the class and they still have fun. I have to remember that their idea of success might not be mastering the moves. To them, it may mean getting into the gym and moving for an hour. I'm totally happy with that. Some clubs I can launch with plus and they'll catch on and love it and come back every week. Other clubs I can only do base and sometimes even give them other options to make it easier- most of them come back but there aren't as many regulars.
Monday is usually the busiest night for us.
I just posted signs and referred all the Jammers to www.lesmills.com to check our Body Jam, latest release, and "learn the moves". A few of my participants today wrote that down. I'm hoping they will feel more successful in Jam next week.
It's a tough program and it really depends on the fun you bring to class :)

Hey Jennifer.
Yes, we had our Quarterly Re-launches earlier this month.
They really loved it!
I have to say, I'm really enjoying this one!
Have fun and let me know how it goes :)
Oh- can you let me know how successful your participants feel? Do you do base or plus? Are your Jam classes really busy?
Just wondering.
Thanks
