I have always had a passion for working out. But it wasn't until I relocated to Amarillo, TX (with my husband and 4 kids) and met an incredible group fitness manager (Sylvia) that suggested I cross the line from class attendee to instructor. It wasn't hard to convince me to teach body step since I was a huge fan of the class. In May of 2006 I did the certification class with Kendall, what an amazing woman. She taught me so much and encouraged me to just keep going (I had never taught and was a little timid at first). I have since loved teaching and have made life long friendships with other instructors at Gold's Gym in Amarillo. Recently I relocated,again, with my family to a small town in Kansas that does not have any of the Les Mills programs, but I really push the issue everytime I'm in the gym (daily). Hopefully they will someday realize the great programs that Les Mills offers and I will be able to teach again. But, until then, I have many happy memories. Who knows, maybe I'll try my hand at free styling.

Heather, I am so proud of you. I knew you could do it. You keep it up and don't ever give up. You worked too hard at it to just leave it. This is in your blood, a gift that the one up above has given you. Use it to your fullest. When will you be coming back to Amarillo? We are fixing to launch RPM! All my RPM instr. are EXCITED and PUMPED up! You will have to take a class when you visit. How's the kids?

Sylvia	Hey, heather, we just went through our "RPM" training this weekend. It was great. Everyone passed!! It was very intensed and we had great Master Trainers (Becky and Carrie). Next time you come to town we might already have "RPM" classes going on. Be sure and come try one. Take Care, Sylvia
