Mark your calendars....June 27, 2008 my BS Assessment DVD went in the mail today!!!! I am so excited and nervous all at the same time! I even sent it 2 day priority just to be sure it gets there! Keep a watch for the results...
*****************************************************
BS Video update...had to get an extension...how disappointing!!! Because on my best taping you could not see my foot when it hit the floor and I did not want to risk it!! So, I have until July 4 and I am striving for perfection!! Can I do it? We shall see!
*****************************************************
June, oh June......My BS video is due on the 16th and I can't wait to have it finished! I refuse to get on the scale right now, so not sure how much I have lost this month....keep a lookout for my bubble bottom b/c it's gone and I am not looking for it :) !!****************************************************
March and April has been a whirlwind! Did Bodystep training in March! Can you say, WOW! Rodney was fabulous! Now prepping for my video. Only thing I was told to work on the fitness level! That was my only "no"! I took that as a "not yet"!!! I fell to my knees when that was my only "no". Everything else I rocked! So I have been told!
Weight loss update -I have lost another 18 lbs since Feb!!
***********************************************************
------------- MY TESTIMONY STARTS HERE! ----------------
Let's see....About me! I started my weight loss journey a little over 3 1/2 years ago. I went to the doctor and for two years straight he told me I had to lose weight. The last year he plainly told me I was going to die, if I did not lose at least 30 lbs. I had high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, ashtma, and anemia. I was spiraling down and I had to do something. In 2004, I weighed 330lbs, was on 6 different medications, and finally decided that enough was enough! I had to change my life to continue to have a life. I started by changing my eating habits. Once, I got that started, it was time to get off the couch and move. I watched FitTV and was hooked after loosing 15 lbs my first month. I joined a gym and the road to my success began. I discovered that group fitness was the key for me. The weight fell off. By Dec. 2005, I had lost 85 lbs. I was approached about teaching aerobics. I would have never dreamed that I would ever teach aerobics. However, I gave it a try! Guess what, I loved it. In Jan. 2006, my gym was offering a certification in BodyPump. A few other people were going to do it, so I did too. It was a huge challege, but so well worth it! I got my BodyPump certification and in Feb. 2006, I got my AFAA group fitness certification! Both are highpoints in my life! By the summer of 2006, I had lost 101 lbs, by diet and exercise, and was taken off 5 of the 6 medications. I took a year off (had a beautiful baby girl to go along with my handsome son and wonderful husband). Now I back and still on my weight loss journey and will not stop until I hit my 5 year goal of 150lbs lost! Watch my smoke! Les Mills will help me get myself and others there! Be Loud and Heard! Turn it Up!

Kimberly,

Thanks for your kind messagae. I am so glad to hear that you are part of the BODYSTEP global team. Your story brought a tear to my eye. What an inspiation you are! When we say life changing fitness experiences everytime, everywhere, you are a testament to this message.
I am from Huntsville, AL myself and used to work with Sandy King a lot when our Les Mills Agency oversaw your club. My wife and I are coming home there for Christmas and if time permits, I would love to come out and teach a BS class with you ladies.

Keep up the great work and making a difference by using your testimony to inspire others. You Rock!

Have a great 4th of July!

Brent
