Hey there,

Larry T in the house. Came from a life of competitive swimming, springboard diving, freestyle step, and cycling... but as I get older, the joints just ain't what they used to be.... however, one day I walked into a Les Mills class and knew these programs would get results for me... and they did!

Trained by Les Mills NZ Pump trainer Alani Mala- (there is no substitute for the real thing! You NZ-ers rock.)

'Pump' and RPM helped me totally change the shape of my body as I had begun to get a little heavy around the middle as I hit my 40s.... stupid genes. Now I live to spread the word to dozens of others via my RPM and Pump classes!

Would love to make it to a taping of a release class someday... but who really wouldn't?

Thanks to all for your continued support and encouragement... who says there's no such thing as an elixir for longevity ;) it's in the form of a 1-hour LMI class!

Cheers!

==== UPDATE AUGUST 18, 2008 ======

CanFitPro was awesome. Thanks to everyone who contributed to a fantastic weekend. Kudos to Glen O and Dan for magnificent PUMP and RPM releases- these totally rocked. Although I don't instruct STEP, the release for this was harder than I expected and will certainly win over those longtime steppers.

My vote for best new release goes to RPM, with Bodypump right behind. Great innovations to keep the programs challenging and effective. Way to go!

RPM 40 completely smashed me.

Heyhey!
I was actually able to record yesterday. Bombed into one of the holiday classes. Luckily people came in a bit late to bring the numbers over 6! The tapes I'm using are a little old though so it scrambles for like 10s during the warm up. Think I can still send it in? Its the best one I've done yet! So annoying. OH well, I'm giving them to Duff tonight so we'll see what he says.

Take care,
CaitT.

Hey Larry,
I'm starting to get annoyed with this whole video thing. ECN isn't the best club for it with the bouncing floors. My Saturday video didn't even record at all. I'm trying to track down who teaches at Bloor Park on Tuesday so I can just get it done and not have to worry about it anymore!

Anyway, hope you enjoyed your long weekend and hope to see you around the clubs soon!

Hey Larry, That is a wicked mix, some of them I've probably particpated in them but not taught them, I've only got upto BP40. Last week a friend of mine who is giving up BP gave me the original BP32 and 36 and he is gonna find me BP34.I do special mixes for near Valentines Day and Christmas. You got me in the mood to do another one.....I'll let you know what I do once I've got time. Recently I've just done a whole CD, like tmorow I'm doing BP59.Never let them know what your doing - Anticpation is the key to success - well it works for me bro tc

Hi Larry,
Thanks for the message, nice to meet people that are passionate like me about the programs they teach. hey you know that photo of you with a cowboy hat, that's wasn't when you did BP53 'Save a Horse' was it. I wore a cowboy hat when I launched that,my cowboy hat had a love heart of lights that lit up throughout the launch....strange things we do as Instructors to make your class happy hey. When I launched Sqaut TRk on BP47 'Stomp'had a chain of christmas lights around myself and dimmed the lights.I wanted to give everybody them necklaces that light up in a rave....ha ha BUT thought I maybe overdoing it a tad.
I'll see if I can find my pictures and send them to you.
Stay Strong and love your work

Hey Crasy Larry,
I can't believe that you have waited this long to get you a pair of clip shoes! I thought that I had died and gone to heaven when I got my first pair...lol It is fun to try to teach the newbies how to lock in, but you also feel a sense of accomplishment along with them when they can just jump on that bike, clip in, and ride.
I am still down in the foot, but I think it is on the mend. I have NEVER been out for this long, but it has been a lesson to not keep teaching when the warning signs are there. Because I didn't rest it early on, the rehab is longer. I have a mean case of tendonitis as well along the gastroc.
ALong with that I have gained some weight over this summer....I have finally had to take up swimming so that I can try to get a cardio workout becuase I am not crazy about any machine other than that bike. I am reminded that I am not that 10 year-old fish that I once was though.
I love listening to the new ride...great music, but I wonder how the first track is going over globally with the gospel message. But to me it beats the potty-mouth editing of Maroon 5 I suppose. ;)
Great to hear from you buddy
