Hi Action Man!
Thanks for the friends add:)
You really keep yourself in action all the time with so many interesting activities;)
Loved to read your profile! Cool pictures, some are crazy!!!
How is the terrain in Sydney to bike rides? Lots of climbs or flat? Do you have a lot of bike routes to enjoy your ride, or you have to do it with traffic?
Chat soon,
Diana

Hi Michael.
Good to hear from you mate.
Hope the riding is going well. Been a bit cold here in Sydney of late hasn't it?!
A stones through from the velodrome is right. I can see the lights from my balcony. I get over there for a look-see when the guys train every now and then and I catch up with a couple of mates who come from out of area.
Mate you should try and get to the 5.30 Pitt St class on a Friday? Be great to have you there! Just about filling the studio for the past few weeks and everyone is riding so hard. They have come so far in such a short time and the hard core guys are helping drive the whole thing to new levels each week.
Bring on the Tour!! GO CADEL!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you liked the picture :).
My journey to becoming an RPM instructor is a little different. I was brand new to instructing and was told "we have this program we have to debut, and we need someone to do it..so can you please memorize this chory and teach this program?" So I did and actually didn't end up taking the initial training for about 6 months. Not the best way of going about it, but it worked. So I did 6 months of RPM and freestyle, and now have been full time RPM for over a year. I will say though, that my outdoor cycling has improved 10 fold since I have started teaching.
You look more than able to handle the program. If you enjoy taking the programs, odds are you would be good to instruct. Its all about having a passion. Good luck. Let me know when you get registered for an initial!

Hey Michael,
That is Great to hear about you going for the RPM training soon. I can totally understand about geting the beat down, talk to one of the veteren LM instructors that has been teaching for a while on how to hear the music and figure out the beat. You can do this with slow and fast music. Great to hear that you have an advantage on the other cyclist now because of your LM workouts that have given you the core strenght, flexibilty and endurance! We are busy as usual and of course the LMSC region office is geting ready for the upcoming LM instructor Quarterly in Nashville, Tennessee in June, so their office is buzzing with loads of activity! Come to think of it, they are always busy in the office! Well got to go, take care and talk to ya soon. I hope you let me know when you will be doing the RPM training and such.
Hugs, Crazy Carol
I'm intending to become an RPM instructor, however I won't be kick starting that until later in the year. Getting the beat matched to the music is going to be my greatest challenge, perhaps I need some music lessons! Later down the track perhaps even pump?
yeh the shoulders are still there, though I slimmed down, loosing 5kg/11lbs to bring my fat levels to only a little bit above minimum. Most cyclists have poor core strength and poor flexibility, so I have an advantage there that compensates for the shoulders :)
What's happening in your neck of the woods?
