Profile

I am an enthusiastic participant of Body Step, Body Combat, Body Flow, and Body Pump. I would love to become an Instructor, but that isn't possible becuase of my age, so hopefully when I am of age I will go to Body Pump Training and become a certified instructor. That is something I would really lvoe to do. I have so much fun in class and am happiest when my muscles are burning and screaming lol, but are beign drowned out by one of the many awesome songs in Body Pump!

I not only have a strong love for Body Pump, But Body Step as well. I love the big athletic moves and the feeling of pushing higher and higher! Its an hour of energy and I can't hold back, I love it simple as that.

Body Combat is AWESOME! I love the aggression and the unleashing of power! Punching and feeling the beat in your veins and with each punch is unlike any other!

Body Flow, wow! The balance track is the hardest track if any les mills class. I love the leg track best of all because it burns so good lol.

I love these classes and hope no matter where I go in life I can find a Les Mills Class with a spot open for me.

Hi Mohamed ...
LOVED reading your profile and descriptions of how you love each programme. I look forward to one day reading an update that says you've celebrated a birthday and an LMI training session because it sounds like you'd be an amazing instructor. You are so lucky to have discovered these great programmes at such a young age! Keep up with your fitness journey. You are an inspiration to us instructors!

Oh and since your new to all this, you will no doubt be overwhelmed. Join us at http://www.ddrevolved.com/ it's a friendly little community (forums) where you can feel free to ask questions about anything. I'm a moderator there (HellRazoR), you can ask anything from suggesting songs for stepmania, to asking about how to add steps to songs, add movies, where to download files, we even have contests roughly quarterly where we compete with creating simfiles to songs and determining which file is best. Personally I'm known as the timing guru, I specialize in making the arrows match the beat with extreme precision and I have yet to meet a song I couldn't perfect either.

LOL, you have just scratched the surface. Seems like you were enticed by the DDR Machine you saw, if you plan to get into the game save yourself alot of hassle and $ and go to www.stepmania.com and download the game (it's a DDR simulator but is much better than any DDR game) unfortunately to keep it legal it doesn't come with any songs. I'd suggest starting with one of the StepMania 3.9 builds to begin with.

Thus you can go to http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/simfiles.php?category=simfiles and find songs to play in StepMania. Also check out my simfiles http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/simfiles.php?category=simfiles . And as you asked for some DDR Videos, I have a few of those http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9srLr_PxiM&feature=channel_page you should also check out Kiranger if you want to see some foot speed.

Oh and you'll need a pad to play on (using a keyboard is LAZY). My dance pads are completely home built, frame pads, and all, but you'll just need something portable and cheap to start with like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/3IN1-High-Dense-1-Deluxe-DDR-Dance-Pad-PS2-Xbox-PC-MAC_W0QQitemZ280260536864QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games_Accessories?hash=item4140d46a20&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116

Although that price is WAY too high, they should be around $50 shipped for 2 but you will want the foam insert and a DIRECT USB connection (not an adapter).

Anyways, check it out, I've been playing now for 8 years and still love it.

I will let you know when I come down again- you do some classes at EBY and I'll trek down to Seminole for a few of yours...then I'll be the traitor ;)

Ohhhh, you have to broaden those horizons. I have a ton of favorite instructors. Besides, they're all one team down there anyway :). There are some great instructors at East Bay- Suzy (she might teach STEP/COMBAT at Seminole, too), Sarah (she does an awesome FLOW class), and Marcy (who is a COMBAT pro). I miss those girls :(

Yeah, I've taken a few of Sue Ford's classes. Glad you like them! I may come down to Seminole next time I'm there, but the crowd's different than at East Bay. I used to teach there and love the people. Next time I come back I'll let you know- you can come PUMP and STEP with some rockstars :D

Hey MoB,

Remember, offense can be given. Or it can be taken. Hope you don't get too stuck because someone chose to take offense. Your comments and enthusiasm are great too read and see. You make a real contribution by participating. Just wanted to let you know that.
