Looked into getting a running trainer and have a trainer in a local running club writing a 12 week plan for me before the race next year. It's on!

Hiya,
I'm aiming for a sub 75min time in the 14km City-to Surf (a bit like your "Bay to Breakers) next Aug. This puts me in the top category out of 4 (and you get to wear the red bib-highly prized and up there with the elite runners!) So I'll have to shave 10 mins off my last years time! I'll have to run 5 min k's but I'm only doing 5.20 at the moment. Not really do-able but a girl can dream...Can't do anything without a goal though. Think I'll step up the training to something like you used to do,although a weekly 15km run.....Whew!!!

LOL a trekker stoned on opium sounds waaaaay more poetic, but probably just being a poser ;)
i dont think you can call any poetry BAAAD per se...
anything that comes from the heart is awesome :) and it's awesome to have a reminder of the times in your life... like if i ever got a tattoo of someone's name (which WOULDN"T happen, but if i did...) and that went bad, i'd remember all the good times with that person coz obviously you'd have them if you wanted to get their name tattooed on your body... and it's a reminder of the time in your life that was good or bad but not to be overlooked nonetheless...
as to being married... noooooo! i'm not even in a relationship... i try to steer clear of all such things... i'm not in a place in my mind or life to be in a relationship... maybe one day though...
ahhhhhhh those are your fellow jammers? that's awesome :) i'm desperately looking for a gym that's not more than 25 minutes drive from my house. a gym that has jam... so i can join and cancel my membership at the gym i'm currently at.... hmmmm....
so have you your own children...? no wives, but children?

Hey there Rex. Great to hear from you. Been a crazy month since CanFit. It was great to see and participate in all of the new releases. Best part is getting to meet and party with the folks from NZ. What a great group and a great tribe we are part of.

Sounds good! Funny how our rotations hit...some weeks I don't teach AT ALL, and other weeks it's crazy! This is one of those weeks. I teach Monday night, Thursday morning, Friday night, AND Saturday!!!!!!!!!!! Before this past Thursday, it had been 2 weeks since I taught! We're allowed to start mixing releases now, but I haven't had enough of 49 yet :) You'll be seeing a lot of it this week. Hope that's ok!
