I would like to say thank you to Les Mills West Coast for all their efforts in putting together the Mega Q in Santa Clara this past weekend. It was truly an amazing experience! The Pump Intensive was awesome of Friday with Susan Renata. I learned a tremendous amount of from her and am anxious to put it into practice with my classes. Everyone from New Zealand was very kind and a delight to be around. They really are fun to take classes from, the energy they brought out of the participant was huge. If you missed this event, you really missed out on an opportunity to educate yourself and bring your teaching to a new level that probably won’t come around too often (maybe we could have one Mega Q each year).
The whole group on Instructors came down from Double Diamond. I am so lucky to be a part of the team, we definitely had the best time. Twelve of us total made the trek together, it was certainly worth it.
The party Saturday night was insane! If you want to really have a good time partying, be the only Guy with eleven super-fit, hot fitness instructors. It doesn’t get much better than that.
To Leanne, Jennifer, Gina, Kiki, and so many others; my new friends; I look forward to seeing you all at the next event.

Teamed up with most of the Les Mills Instructors from Double Diamond and competed in the Reno/Tahoe Odyssey. A 178 mile running relay race. Thank you to my fellow teammates in making the event such a blast. I looked forward to the end of each of my running legs for so many reasons! Those of you that were there know what I’m talking about.
I’m very lucky to be a part of such a great group of people, the Les Mills Instructors from Double Diamond Athletic Club.

4/29 - Been teaching BodyPump 69 for a couple of weeks, still sore all the time! Students and myself really enjoying this new release. Special thanks to Shalie, my amazing wife, for working with me on learning it all

Just got back from the San Diego Q! If I were to describe it in one word, AWESOME! I love the Les Mills programs so I took part in as many classes and education as possible, seven sessions. All of the Les Mills Team is amazing! Brent, Danya, Peg, Megan, Porsche, Petter, Dan and Matty are all so generous to share their energy and passion for each program. The new releases are so much fun. Even after doing all possible classes, the day seamed to go by so quickly, I guess that happens when you’re enjoying yourself. I attended with my wife Shalie (actively instructs all 8 programs) and our friend Cassi Bussick (Pump, Flow, Vive). Take a look in all of your new videos and you will see them both all over the place. They were fortunate enough to go to New Zealand for filming. The Les Mills family welcomed them both with open arms even asking Shalie to team teach during Attack, Balance, Step, Combat and Pump. What an opportunity! They have already made reservations to go back for filming again in November.
Well, enough for now, I guess I better get back to work. I wish I didn’t have this day job that keeps me away from the gym so that I could work on perfecting my teaching. Damn it!
