I suppose its time for a little update! My world has been super busy, as with everyone elses I'm sure.

School is going great, work is good. I had the oppurtunity to scrub in on a couple of surgeries. By far the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed in my life. The big one was a CABG, for the non-medical folks thats an open-heart surgery. To see God's creation from the inside out left me speechless. My amazement was also with the surgeon. He earns every pennny he makes. The heart was stopped, cut open, fixed then starting beating again! AMAZING!!! It won't be long and I'll be the one assisting the surgeon, or I might be the surgeon, who knows! I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up. I can't wait, lots of school but it'll be worth it in the end.

Les Mills still is and always will be a huge part of my life. After all these programs gave me the self-confidence that I need to accomplish anything! I love my members and fellow instructors they are my second family and they support every step of the way. I love all you guys dearly!

Save the best for last: My husband and boys are doing great. Soccer has begun, 2 games on saturdays til November. You soccer moms know what i'm talkin' about, right? Their first games were saturday, so I'll have some pics up real soon. I see future little Beckhams!

That's about it for now. So you say a little prayer for me and I'll say a little prayer for you! May God continue to bless all of you with HEALTH and HAPPINESS. May all your dreams come true.

Thanks for the note and the "add"!! I really love what I do. I am very fortunate to have the job I do. I get to scrub, take pt calls,round on our pts in the hospital,pull CTs and PWs, it is awesome. We are currently starting to train other surgeons to do Afib surgery via thoracoscopy!! And stapling off the left atrial appendage. It has been an awesome experience and I have truely been blessed. Good luck in school and give a hollar when you are in for a UT game. I teach with Kim R, who I noticed is another friend on your profile!!!

IT WAS SO GREAT SEEING YOU!!! Your message brought me to tears! Tanisha, I can honestly say that I absolutely love this...I love what it has done for me, what it is doing for others, and I am humbled to be a part of it all! Thank you so much for recognizing that in me. It means a great deal coming from you!!! I know life gets in the way sometimes, but let's not let 3 months go by before we see each other again!
