Good news & congrats on your vision! Isn't it a thrill how you can suddenly see for miles & miles & miles & miles!? So exciting!
Pah! Independence overrated!? Us rebellious Americans like to make a BIG deal about Independence Day!
Celebrating here to the hilt - fireworks, parades, parties, concerts, BBQ's, picnics - it's all goin' on today - all in honor of the birth of our nation!
A pack of girlfriends & I embarked on a 40 mile ride at 6 am this morning, in hopes of beating the crowds & the craziness that ensues...and it was still crazy out there!
Taking a break now from the great outdoors and the great masses celebrating until this evening - plan to hit an annual 4th of July party at a friend's w/a most breathtaking view of the harbor & fireworks.
I'm looking forward to hearing about my son's experience, being that he's in DC today.
In my grand opinion, Independence is not overrated, just possibly over-celebrated here!

MMS it is then, I like that way better than knacker soup..although the latter rarely had meat in it. My x hubby used to call sausages mystery bags..I like that too.
I heard Alexis Sale (how d u spell his last name?) talking about his wife turning veggie..he said she gets all this fake meat for the kids sarnies

Fake fish = pish

It's Thursday...it's been days since I heard from ya Mate...bin having incidents for the last couple of days. It's been terr-id!
Had a blocked sink fer a couple of days so getting a plumber is nigh on imbloody possible so got some stuff from the shop...highly recommended by my neigbour-
Well...pay attention (if only I had!) I happily poured said quantity down drainhole, poured boiling water and Hey presto! The kitchen began to quake..a large quantity of indescribable, vile smelling mud like stuff shot about 3 feet in the air, there was an god almighty BANG! the doors under the sink, blasted out and in... (Then came the Vikings!)actally it was a torrent of water but nontheless horrifying- i think it was water!
The writing on the bottle was distorted so i misread the guidence. I poured 250-mg in the hole instead of 25mg..Managed to melt all the seals around the pipes..WOT A BLEEDIN MESS! It's sorted now. waiting in unhappy anticipation for the plumbers bill.
