I took my first Pump class March 2006, fell in love with it and became certified June 2006. I'm 52 years old and I'm here to say it's a body changing, mind altering, mood lifting experience!

I have two grown daughters, Stacy (32) and Amber (26). I became a grandmother August 27. Baby Natalie was 6 weeks early but she is doing well. When I visit or babysit, my daughter Amber tells her new baby girl that her Grambo is here to take care of her. This name is a combination of Grandma and Rambo. She thinks it's quite funny. I tell her if she doesn't stop soon, it will stick! Secretly, I like it. It's a heck of a lot better than MeeMa (no offense to any of you who have MeeMas or are a MeeMa).

I'm originally from Front Royal, Virginia and have lived in Georgia since 1990. I used to play racquetball at least 3 times a week. LOVE that game but haven't played since moving here (small town) as there were/are no racquetball courts. Ah, such is life...but now I have PUMP and I'm in love again! With Bodypump, that is!

I can't say enough good things about Bodypump as it literally lifted me off the ground when I was feeling very sad and unhappy with my life. I will be a Les Mills Instructor until the day I die (which could be relatively soon given my age *smile*...) or until my body gives out.

I have so much admiration for those of you who are certified in several or all of the programs. Your bodies and brains must be superhuman!

I hope to make friends with Les Mills Instructors from all around the world.

Thanks for stopping by my Les Mills page. If you have an interest, come visit my myspace page at www.myspace.com/bonniecather.

Hi Bonnie!
Long time...thought I'd drop in & say hello!

My summer is off & running! I just posted some new pics from the Las Vegas Q (was so much fun!!) as well as some pics from my Father's Day weekend at the Colorado River.

Also just bought a roadbike - caught the bug - and am recovering today from my inaugural ride yesterday - 28 miles down the coast!

Hope your summer is off to a great start too! Let me know what you've been up to.

Thanks, Bonnie, for writing back - it's great to have you as a "new LesMills friend". I think it is just wonderful to have friends all over the country & the world!
Yeah, you know - being 50+ isn't bad at all. Thank goodness I am relatively healthy and able to continue teaching the classes I want to teach. I am very blessed!
Even more so, I'm sure blessed with my sweet family and isn't have grandkids SO MUCH more fun than having kids - :>)!! Congrats on your coming baby in Nov.! Now you will have double the fun!
Hope your week is a super one. Enjoy!

P.S. I did certify to teach BodyVive. It is a good discipline too. But unfortunately, it just didn't take off here in northern Colorado, so the 2 clubs where I was teaching it dropped the classes, so bummer on that. Perhaps it will come again in the future and I'll be all ready - :>)!!
