Qualified To Teach

3/24/09:

Just got back from Attack Training with an amazing group of people! We had our training with Nate Stokes and he was awesome! Definitely a physically intense training, but I can't wait to start teaching the program! Now, just have to start practicing - so I can get this video done!

After taking Body Pump classes for almost 2 years, I finally decided to go through training. Well...I just completed my first Les Mills initial training in Rock Hill, SC! I went through Body Pump training with the most amazing and inspiring trainers and future instructors! Now, I just have to do the video!

Update: I just found out that I passed my video!!! I am officialy a BodyPUMP Instructor! YAY....next on the list - ATTACK Training in March!!

I'm a Special Education teacher at Kiser Middle School and love the challenge that my kids give me every day. I look forward to my journey with Body Pump and hopefully more programs in the future!

OMG - I'm so behind on my msgs here!!! How in the heck are you?!?

How was your launch? How is life?

(Am I asking too many questions? :-) )

To answer your question about how to specifically train for ATTACK, I definitely recommend cross-training interval-style -- for me, that was mostly treadmill-based, but I also would attend cardio classes (ATTACK, COMBAT, etc.) and would just focus on really varying bursts of energy w/active recovery...

Jen	Hi Carrie! Just seen your post over in the attack forum and thought I would say hi! Think we're kinda on the same level! Did pump training back in oct, attack in early jan, and also booked to do a half marathon (tho yep not till oct, gotta get that vid out the way first!) Hi Carrie! It was so nice to meet you this past weekend! Wasn't it fun? Nate is great! I just wish I felt and looked better, but I am on the road to recovery! Finally! Please keep in touch! We are planning on doing BA64 for our Classes For the Cure on April 25th. We can't do release 64 until that time :( I get to teach it though and I am very excited! Best of luck to you on your taping! Hey Carrie, you are totally Welcome for the compliment and Thank you for telling me a little bit more about ya!
Wow, I used to live in Dallas, I am 45 minutes West of Dallas in Ft. Worth. I Love Texas and Ft. Worth, it's a Wonderful City and much less congested than Dallas. Austin is a cool place too! Well Texas has it's qualities and so does Florida, I guess you will both have to do a pro's & con's list to figure out your next move, Good Luck on that! Take care and talk to ya later.
