Qualified To Teach

Hello all. I have been teaching Body Pump for three years at the YMCA in Valley.
When I took the training for Body Pump I had never taken the class before or even seen the class. I knew it had to do with lifting weights and that was inspiring to me. I am all about trying to get my body toner. So I didn't know what I was in store for. Training for the video was hard. I didn't have much strength although I had taken weight classes but nothing compaired to BP. The other people in my traing class have become my dearest friends. Niki was very helpful for me. If I was struggling with the learning the cory and wanting to give up, I would e-mail Niki and she would immediatly e-mail me back with poitive things to help me through.

I am now waiting for my certificate in Body Attack. Again the two ladies who I took the training with, Kris and Judy, have again become very dear friends to me and have been very helpful. We have had a lot of fun teaching the classes together.

I have two daughters, Jessica is 23 and is a head pre-school teacher at Head Start in Fremont, Amanda is 21, she is a medical assistant and is working at Alegent Health in Omaha. I also have two step children, Bill is 19 currently working at Food 4 Less grocery store in Fremont, and Sandy. She is 16 and will be graduating next year from High School. She is our last to leave the home.

My husband and I will be married for 10 years this coming July. We have fun taking trips on his motorcycle. This last March we went to Florida. We have made a lot of friends who also have motorcycles.

I also enjoy taking care of my yard and helping others with theirs. Helping them with ideas with for their landscaping.

Teaching these two Les Mills classes have given me lots of energy to keep up with my life. I love it!!!

Great job, and thanks for getting me back on track... :) Did you figure out how to get those picture off your phone and on your computer? I should be there on Monday... Did we just have the best time ever this wkd? It was the most memorable event. It was fun rooming together, working out together, drinking margaritas together, eating cookies together, etc. etc.!!

The whole wkd was great, and I am so happy that I had you guys to spend it with as well...it's not quite the same without your friends!

When you have time, can you send me the pics you got from the wkd? Especially the one with our whole group and Susan and Grace? Thanks.

Crabby?!? Oh, puh-leeze! Crabby is the LAST word I would use to describe you!! How about FUN, INPIRATIONAL, HAPPY, HARD-WORKING, FOCUSED, CARING, TEAM PLAYER... need I say more?! :)

NeNe, I miss teaching BA with you SO much... hopefully in two weeks I'll be back! It is so much FUN to coach with you... and I know our members enjoy it as much as we do!! :) You do a great job... just look at your numbers!! :)

Love the pictures Eilis posted... I need her to post some on my profile too! :) Or I could just not be so lazy and figure out how to get them on my profile myself... :)

Oh Ne Ne!! You are never crabby with us!! I figured you picked that name because you spend so muchtime gardening!!

I'm glad you finally set up a profile! Add a cute photo of yourself to share with all your friends! If you don't have one, I will find one from one of our launches! (I found one from clear back to 55--see below)
