Hi Elyse!
Thanks for your message. Your trip to AZ will be perfect timing as the temps are finally starting to get below 100 degrees. As for gyms in the Scottsdale area I believe there is a Jewish Community Center that has it. Also ChamBo in Glendale, AZ. Best to check the club locator tool to find a location closest to where you'll be staying.
Have a fantastic trip!

Hey well in one way at least you didnt have a class and get it taken off you whilst being told that vive is a program for non fit instructors (soz had to vent of a lil) Ive only got tech one class now and that will be when the new gym opens in october (assuming it goes well there) kinda disappointed having 5 classes to 1 or possiably 2.
USA awesome, great to get away for a while ... have u used the class finder on the website?

Hi Elyse, sorry for the slow reply but I don't check for messages very often !! Have just Launched BC37 on Wed. Nelle and I dressed up in full Combat Gear complete with face paint !! Nelle was more Mohawk Warrior and I was more Private Benjamin !! ( will try to put some photo's on my profile ) Some of the participants dressed up too which was great, I think most people thought we were a bit Bonkers but hey that's what it's all about eh? having a bit of fun !! We are down in Canberra next weekend for our BP training, we did consider trying to get in touch with you but unfortunately our only time off is the Sat night and as you know we will be holed up in the Hotel trying to learn our Chory for our presentation the next day ( every second counts !! ) BC 38 sounds interesting , we were a bit wary of 37 until we started teaching it, now we LOVE it !! especially the new "eskeeva"( spelling !!!?) move ,a killer on the legs !!!! Anyway, must scoot I'm writing this behind Reception and have just been caught by the boss !!oops ! Are you going to the U.S by the way ?? Hope life is treating you well in Canberra x take care ,Bev

Hi Elyse,
Great to have a new friend, especially one who share the passion and burning desire to inspire fitness in everyone we meet. You seem to have achieved so much at such a young age. How wonderful to know exactly what it is you want to do with your life and set the path ahead. I joined the fitness industry at age 35 (now 44) after initially pursuing my passion for the performing arts. In many ways, I'm still performing every time I take a class except now I sweat for my buck instead of singing for it.
I went to the 1/2008 filming last November. It was an amazing experience plus got to meet the program directors and get inside their head a little. The experience really inspired me to be better, stronger and even more committed than I thought I already was. Can't wait to see what they've got installed for us in November.
Take care,
Patti

Haha too right. I second that, work is sooo boring. At least you aren't sitting on your butt in an office all day ;)
Workshops were awesome. Going to be teaching out at a different gym in Auckland, after meeting a few people I trained with. So cool! Hopefully gt a balance slot as well in October.
How were your w/shops?
snore snore snore =P ps: no don't recognise the guy, but will keep my eyes open (and then point and laugh!)
