HAERE MAI (Welcome) to my Profile Page. I'm a Scientist (Ph.D. Candidate in Microbiology & Immunology) who is also a BodyPump and BodyCombat Instructor living in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Originalmente soy de Puerto Rico en el Caribe (I'm originally from Puerto Rico in the Caribbean). I fell in love with Les Mills and it changed my life so now I'm an instructor trying to do the same for other people. If there's something I've learned from Les Mills, it's perseverance - for example, while the World is getting fatter, we strive to live healthy and take exception to a sedentary lifestyle, that kind of mindset also applies to so many things. So, say you are passionate about something really good and others are being negative about it, don't worry! Just GO FOR IT MAN! Like Nike says, JUST DO IT! KIA KAHA (STAND STRONG)! I lost 90 lbs and am keeping it off, people were being negative after I lost a fraction of that weight, they told me to stop but I didn't until I reached my goal and now I have people who look at me as a role-model. It didn't matter that I had been overweight for so long, I didn't let that affect me. It didn't matter that I was new to fitness, with time I learned and I got better at how to eat and exercise, I believed in myself and pushed forward and you know what - you can too.
