OK. What can I say? Filming BODYSTEP in New Zealand was life changing to say the least. There were so many feelings/emotions at one time - excited, nervous, confident, scared, frustrated, ecstatic - it was a journey. I am so pleased how it all turned out - filming night somehow everything just came together and I think we rocked it!!!

Working with Mops, Lisa, Sarah and Craig was so much fun! Amazing energy, support and kindness from them all.

And since Mops has aired my dirty laundry (or should I say "melted laundry) on his profile I'll admit that I put my new shoes in the dryer 2 hours before filming and they completely shrunk and melted. Yes - only me!!!! I cried for a minute than I had to suck it up and get teased for the next 2 days! I am not only going to get buffaloed for that - but I think I'll at least owe a triple buffalo! How embarassing. Emma Barry summed it all up by saying "I knew things were just going too smoothly for you Joells". ;)

Thanks everyone for all the support and the e-mails I've received. I gave my US friends/teammates a shout out in Track 3 - I was definitely trying to make you guys proud. Love ya.

Laryssa	OK, I wasn't doing BA at 40, let alone 42! And it kicked my a$$ in Chicago last year between you and Mark...holy cow...can you say "effective cross-training"??? Hats off to YOU...BP, BS as well as BA!!! 40 is merely a number!!!!! PS the newsletter was the LM August Newsletter...very cute picture of you. Would be glad to forward it to you if you share your email address???

The weather was great and the event was well organized. The organizers really put on show. It was very hot that day and thankfully I also brought sun screen. The lake felt like bath water and the water is by no means clear. The fish found us interesting. I actually cut about 3.5 minutes off my swim time so I was very happy with that. The bike course is challenging and most of it was going up hill but going down hill was very fast. The scenery was really nice and I did take a moment to stop and enjoy it. The run went well for me and it was a well planned challenging course. Running hills in training paid off for me.

The best part was meeting a lot of women from all over who did the race for all sorts of reasons. People sat on the lawns and cheered us on. There were men out running and biking on their own and being really supportive. Total strangers...it felt good.

The registration for 8/09 opens in October....hehe.
