Hey Crasy Larry,
I can't believe that you have waited this long to get you a pair of clip shoes! I thought that I had died and gone to heaven when I got my first pair...lol It is fun to try to teach the newbies how to lock in, but you also feel a sense of accomplishment along with them when they can just jump on that bike, clip in, and ride.
I am still down in the foot, but I think it is on the mend. I have NEVER been out for this long, but it has been a lesson to not keep teaching when the warning signs are there. Because I didn't rest it early on, the rehab is longer. I have a mean case of tendonitis as well along the gastroc.
ALong with that I have gained some weight over this summer....I have finally had to take up swimming so that I can try to get a cardio workout becuase I am not crazy about any machine other than that bike. I am reminded that I am not that 10 year-old fish that I once was though.
I love listening to the new ride...great music, but I wonder how the first track is going over globally with the gospel message. But to me it beats the potty-mouth editing of Maroon 5 I suppose. ;)
Great to hear from you buddy

Hey Larry,
It's funny because I think we have the same taste in music....And that means that you have some GOOOD taste...LOL
You know it's funny, but when I have a song like that Maroon 5 one that crosses over, I can't help but see FLOW cues like I did in Afterglow. I am bummed out because I am sidelined with plantar fascitis, and it might be months before I hit the stage again. So take care of yourself...don't overdo it because you won't be able to do what you love. I'll still be right there in the middle of things, but I'm hating it that I can't jump on that bike until I get the green light. Hope you are having a good start to the summer.

You know what? I was caught in the crossfire several years ago when Body Training Systems split from LMI. Actually I TRAINED with BTS to do Group Ride because our gym converted in the split. After two releases, the gym switched BACK to Les Mills, so I had to do another video assessment. Imagine that! In the fallout they agreed that I could pick my favorite release and teach it. So I was evaluated for RPM 26. I got Distinction on that one so I was quite pleased. I believe that I would have trained on RPM 27 because that had just been released. That was 11 RPMs ago! Man time flies when you're having fun.
And you? What BP and RPMs brought you into the insructor fold?
Have a good one,
Lee

What's up Larry?!
Thanks for the nice message. I'll bet you are an awesome instructor. I do love Les Mills and all that it does. I'm grounded from Flow for a while trying to get my foot back in working order so I'm left with the bike...and LOVE RPM! I hate that Dan the Man is leaving Auckland.
We are hoping to work out with everyone again when they come to the States this August. So we're going to make a LONNNNG road trip this time just to do it. But it's worth it to take real Master classes with them.
Launched 38 this past week. They were dripping by the end! Have fun putting it out there for all your peeps to enjoy.
Best,
Lee

Hi Larry
So sorry to hear about your Dad. My sympathies to you and your family.
I am cramming too. I have barely looked at the Pump. I know the music and it is just a matter of marrying up the chore. Not teaching it till Thursday and only three tracks then Sunday and three more so I have time.
Why would you do three pump classes? I am available on Saturdays and could have helped out.
The new step is absolutely incredible. It is going to be so much fun to teach. I cannot wait. I am releasing it tomorrow night at Argyle, My Wednesday class at Windermere and Saturday morning at Galleria. Going to be a blast!!!
Everyone here is doing well. Keep in Touch!!!
