Name: Mami (pronounced like "Mom")
Nick name: "Miami" given by Jericho (she is the best)
Grew up in Japan, did my undergrad in both Vancouver, Canada, and California. End up in the upstate NY due to my graduate school.
Passion: to be a better instructor for BS, BC, and BP; to complete Adirondack 46 (41/46!); to eat lots of good food all over the world
Things that I like to do: traveling, hiking, trying LM programs all over the world

I neglected my profile for a LONG TIME, and it's in June now!

The NEQ1 was fun. It took 5 hrs instead of 3.5 hrs to get down to Poughkeepsie on Friday. Darren, Lizzy, and Renee made BS super! It was good to mingle with the tropical fitness and CP Gold's team again. Matt, Bridget, and Mark: thank you for hanging out w/me @ a dinner! I had a good time :)

Costa Rica was absolutely fantastic. The trip was filled with all excitement: 2-day rafting, canyoneering, and a canopy tour. I highly recommend paying the visit to the butterfly garden in Monteverde. It's absolutely gorgeous.

My GE classes were finally over! Attended the Commencement at my school. I somehow thought it was on Saturday, but it was on Sunday. I almost didn't make it!

I enjoyed BS 72 with Margo-go (what a cute nickname!), and of course, Brent! Thank you guys for the shout out! My name is sometimes useful, right?!

I am so lucky to have met incredible people and instructors through LM. No matter where I go, talented instructors and passionate participants keep inspiring and motivating me. Although BC occupies a special place in my heart thanks to Jericho, Josef, and Dan, I am into BS the most lately. Thanks to incredible BS trainers that I have met: Darren, Annie, Megan, Nate, Brent, Amanda, Lizzy, and Margo. I hope to join your BS class some time somewhere!

Mami,

It is great to hear from you and it was super awesome to see you again at the Q in Haverhill. I hope that your trip to Japan was awesome. It was my pleasure to help out with your ongoing progression and give some feedback after the Q. Thanks for the kind words around BS 72. You Rock! I will be at the Super Q in August and will be looking forward to seeing you again then.

Hey Mami!
It's great to hear from you!! I will check with Darren on that Sunday class in July ... he just sent out the July schedule and I haven't really looked at it yet. It would be wonderful to see you, though you would absolutely have to team teach!
I will be seeing you in August, yea! It's gonna be incredible :) Glad to hear all is well with you, and I will check that schedule and get back to you.

Good Morning, Mami!
Thanks for the note...just a quick response back, I am getting ready to catch an early train to NYC this morning, so I should really be drying my hair and getting ready...yikes!
We don't launch here until the week of July 7th, so no other classes than Nates regular classes:
Mondays BodyStep @ Ballston: 6PM
Tuesdays BodyAttack @ S. Arlington: 8PM
I am not sure if he still teaches on Thursdays....you might just want to check the schedules at Gold's .... sorry, I am not a better help!

Let me know when you are coming through, I'd love to team teach with you!!!

Hey girl!
I'm so sorry I missed you up in Utica! I didn't realize I was so near you. Abby was wonderful, and did such a great job on Party step ... I love her bounce :) I'm sure she really appreciates you working with her before training. I hope I'll get to catch you sometime soon, maybe at a Q. I'd love to get back up there and visit Powerhouse again; I had a great weekend! In the meantime, have fun with the new releases (I LOVE BS 72!!) and I'll chat with you soon :) Annie

Brent	Mami, I am thrilled to be coming back over to the NE for the next round of Quarterlies. BODYSTEP 72 is such a fantastic release and you guys are going to love it. Hey Mami,

Isi from Argentina, will be in NY from 8-4 till 8-12. She'll be in Jersey City for a week and she is looking to see if there will be any kind of LM events going on any where in NY while she is there that you might know of.
She also would like to know what areas have the LM classes while she is there that she can attend either in Jersey City or Manhattan. If you have any info that you know of, can you let me know I would appreciate it so I can pass it on to her. Hope to hear back from ya soon.
