I heard from my boss today that there were four, plus me and a jam instructor, signed up, so six so far. There might be a few more, but I'd guess we will not be more than 10.

Honestly, I'd lay off the 3xdaily cardio and just hit one or mayb etwo classes a day. You need to be very well rested. Of the nine or so hours a day we'll be in the gym, we'll be working out about half of those, and then you'll also be practicing after we're turned loose for the evening. Make sure you get plenty of rest.

I'm not sure which release we'll be on. I'm hoping for 40 but I kinda doubt it for some reason. Carrie Kepple will send out an e-mail in a few days that has our trainer's name and which release we will train on. Make sure you've got your iPod/MP3 player and a laptop comes in handy, too, if you've got one.

Girl, I feel you. I've got a bad SI joint in my low back that makes working out a pain sometimes. My advice? Work out now, but rest and take care of yourself a couple of days before the training.

And yes, I will be there. I actually live and teach in Bryan and College Station, so let me know if you have questions about the city or anything. There's a huge HEB grocery store right next to the gym if you need to stock up on snacks and drinks beforehand, and the gym has some nice showers if you want to sneak one in during a break. Bring extra clothes; I tend to over pack, but two changes per day is pretty standard. You don't want to sit there in your sweat and get cold and nasty. Also, if you have a folding chair like a camp chair, bring that with you. Especially with our bad backs, those will help to get us up off the ground when we're sitting around talking.

And I am so glad to know I'm not the only one nervous. :-) But it will be a small group of us, so I bet we'll bond and help each other out a ton. Can't wait! Have a safe trip and I'll see you next week!

Yes I am! I am getting really nervous! I teach fitness but not at this level. I love Les Mills but feel more confident with Body Pump. I have only done Combat for three months. I didn't want to pass up training since it isn't offered much. I am killing myself training doing cardio 3x a day to prepare. Are you going to be there? I have a sciatica nerve injury in my left buttocks that is really ...a pain in my ass. It is hurting my kicks etc...Gosh only 7 days away! Hope to hear from you! I am feeling a little my age , where it takes a lot more effort and the pain is there! Oh well this is what I want!
