Qualified To Teach

After 4 years of teaching Les Mills classes in my own club, I find myself in a brand new role, as General Manager for New York Sports Clubs in Manhattan. There are currently no clubs anywhere in Manhattan that are teaching Les Mills classes so I am anxiously awaiting the opportunity to be the first club in the largetst market in the U.S. to start. I will be looking for instructors so if you're around the city, please let me know. It will help me with my game plan. In the meantime, I am going bananas not being able to teach class, however, I still have my ipod to keep me going. Working on my skills will have to do for now.

I'm also finding myself looking for some new friends to hang out with too. Would love to find some les mills addicts to hang out with.

To my addict buddies up North, always thinking about you guys and looking forward to working out and hanging out with you real soon.

Keep me posted on your launch, would love to drive up there, now that I have been to NY twice in the same month, lol, I kind of know the way pretty good ;) How long do you guys wait to launch? We wont launch for a good 2 months, seems like as soon as we launch,our new music comes in the mail. I am ready to launch attack NOW!! Love the new stuff!!!!

Hey Steve I'm living in Vermont but when you launch in The Big Apple let us know I'm sure a crew of us would love to make a trip to support and show the Les Mills passion and love of the programs..We make lot's of noise too!! I'm certified in Step,Rpm and pump. Fractured my leg in attack traing(I did complete the training and passed. Dr.said no more practice and here's a nice cast for you to wear for 6 WEEKS!!after the fact.) The longest weeks of my life with no classes!!They were longer than my pregnancy weeks!! So I feel for you not being able to teach. Maybe I'll put myself through the training again. I hear they have some lower options now. Not when I took it. It was too much for the members at our gym so we don't have it here anymore. Trying to get Vive going. Anyways good luck to you with the new venture.
