Holiday week-getting ready for Thanksgiving...it's just the four of us, as usual, and I am teaching PUMP @ 10am, south gym, on Thanksgiving day. If you're in town and want a big calorie blast before you fill your belly, come and join me! Otherwise, where ever you are, have a wonderful holiday!

ABOUT ME:

~I have been teaching Bodypump since 2004, and trained on release 49. Becoming a part of the Les Mills family is one of the best things I've ever done. I first became really passionate about fitness and strength training when I transformed my body in 2001 through the Body for Life program from Bill Phillips.

~I am a mother of two boys; Eric was born in Jan 1995 and Brian was born in Aug 1996. Brian was born with leukemia and had a pretty rough life early on. He had two bone marrow transplants and is now free of leukemia, but has many of the complications that come from transplant and treatment. ~I have been married to Jeff since June of 1985. We met at Baylor Univ. Med Center in Dallas, Tx. where I worked as an xray tech and he worked as a nurse in the emergency room....ahhhh, hospital romance! Jeff went on to become a nurse anesthetist (putting people to sleep!), and I gave up my medical job to become a full time mom.

~Teaching pump is my mental health break from all of lifes challenges, but it also brings me great joy where I meet some awesome members and fellow instructors!

~I currently teach for two fine facilities (YMCA & Gold's Gym). They each have their own great, unique qualities and members.

~Mondays: 9:30am at Twin Rivers YMCA in Valley, Ne.
~Tuesdays: Noon at Gold's Gym north in Omaha, Ne.
~Thursdays: Noon at Gold's Gym south in Omaha, Ne.

~I am originally from Colorado, but I have lived in Texas and Virginia, and now currently reside in Nebraska. This is where Brian had his bone marrow transplants, and because of lung damage from transplant, we moved here from Colorado's high altitude so he could be free of full time oxygen.

Thanks for the great workout and visit time last Tuesday!! Here's a photo of Luke with you and Nancy at his first REAL Bodypump class (with weights Dad!). He will do his second class with ME and his swim team this Wednesday .. he and I chose music for it while driving through Iowa yesterday. YOUR class has now got him respecting this BP passion of ours - now it's my turn again :-) THANKS for everything !!

Hi Nikki! Hope things are going well your way. I didn't make it to the Super Quarterly in Chicago this year. We are in the midst of moving and things are c-r-a-z-y. Guess what? My son has moved to Lincoln and is attending University of Nebraska for his PhD--so we go through Omaha once a month! If we get a chance I would love to take one of your classes sometime. One can never get too much PUMP! Take Care.

Kerry	I did late Feb/early Mar this year and last in Menahsa Wis, last year was my first away Q. I've done 4 intown ones, but out of town is WAY more fun since no one exects you to haul equipment :) I have not done a Super Q, but I keep saying, "one of these times Chicago" Ker

Super FUN at the Quarterly with you and Nancy and the other zillion people - SO GLAD you could make it! Although we really did tough Les Mills workouts all day, you can remember us three best cleaned up and at dinner in the photo below - Enjoy !!
