Qualified To Teach

Profile

Been almost a year and a half since I took Attack training (total newby to teaching) but that is what love for Attack did to me! Now it is much easier to learn a new release, I feel more comfortable in most aspects, really getting the fitness magic does not come naturally to my personality, so gotta figure out how to work on that one.

took Flow training at the beginning of this year, and it is quickly becoming my favorite program! Surprised me because I am very fast paced, can't slow down to hold those poses and relax? Right. But I love standing strength, and love the improved flexibility, and esp. love the interacting I get with the members after a flow class. After Attack people feel gross, tired, just want to get out of there (but could be that I always seem to teach just before the Pump crowd comes in behind me!), but Flow they stick around, feel good, etc. What a difference! Love being able to move fluidly with the music, kind of getting expression of the music through the movement and holding of those poses. I love that, which I did not know I had that in me!

considering Pump training next weekend in Fuquay so I could sub Pump. There are so many opptys. to sub Pump, and I hear it is the easiest program to learn... hmmm....

Hey!! I am good. Yes, those pics on my profile are from O2 Cary, but they are when I was pregnant with the last baby. This one is coming Aug 8th. I am still teaching 3-4 classes per week consistently: at least two Pumps and one Step -- this week 3 Pumps and one Step. Flow is hard since my belly is so big!! I don't teach that too much -- I just sub occasionally. I'm sure O2 could probably use another Attack instructor. I think Flow is pretty full. I'll tell Suzi that you are interested.

How is everything going with you??

Hey! :) I completely had no idea all this was here until the other night - talk about clueless! :) I hear Flow training went well - I took the Flow class Jake taught the other night in Apex and it was great. So when do you get to start teaching this one too? :)

Yay! Congrats on passing. I think a shopping spree at Dick's for new outfits (mine in red, yours in yellow) is a great idea!

I just got home from PUMP training and now I think I will go collapse in a heap in the corner. Well... after I shower. Hehe!

Way to go! What a relief, huh? I was tired of waiting! I actually teach at all the Gold's Gyms (all 3). Our schedule changes every month. In Sept I teach Mondays at Racine 4:30.
Would love to have you in class! Looking foward to release 62!

I did pass. I received my results yesterday. Congratulations on yours. I like all of the releases. I started to learn 62 already. I like 61 but I think the releases get better and better.

Hey Slacker! I better see you on Tuesday morning in Boot camp!! Neither you nor Rudy were there on Thursday, but I guess it's ok because I think you had to teach at 10:30am? But that is STILL not a good enough excuse!!! :-)

Thank you so much!! You know I haven't really been doing anything different, but you are the second person who has said something like that, and that means a lot to me. I have always worked hard, and I haven't really been doing anything different that I am aware of...

I wish I could come to you Attack class but I have to go to a sales training at work from 9-5pm. I hope that it goes well!!

Hey! I'm sorry to hear about your knee! I know injury sucks! I've had shin splint, heel problems, and hip problems before when I ran cross country! I hope it gets better for you! I am back in school, I just got back on Tuesday! I'm already teaching at a gym down here. The gold's in CHarleston! I have to tell you I went to the quarterly in Tampa and the new attack is my favorite by far! Its amazing!!!!!!!!! I hope things are going well for you other than your knee problems! I just got certified in pump! You should do it too! Its so much easier to learn than attack!! Anyways thanks for the message! Keep in touch!
